04V1590002004-04-07. FUEL SYSTEM, OTHER:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY:PRESSURE RELIEF DEVICES. ON CERTAIN CHASSIS BUILT WITH LNG ENGINES, THE NEXGEN LNG TANK'S PRIMARY AND SECONDARY RELIEF VALVES COULD FAIL TO OPEN AND RELIEVE TANK PRESSURE. Built 1995-04-26 to 2004-02-09.
03V2010002003-06-03. SUSPENSION:FRONT:HUB. ON CERTAIN HEAVYTRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH TRUCK HUB UNITS MANUFACTURED BY SKF EXCLUSIVELY FOR USE ON ARVINMERITOR'S FF98X SERIES NON-DRIVE STEER AXLES, THE HUB UNIT BEARINGS CAN WEAR PREMATURELY. Built 1999-04-16 to 1999-07-15.
02V0370062002-08-15. STEERING:LINKAGES:TIE ROD ASSEMBLY. ON SOME HEAVY DUTY CLASS 8 VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH ARVINMERITOR AXLE ASSEMBLIES WHICH MAY HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED WITH TRW MODEL 20EDL BALL SOCKETS, THE TIE ROD BALL-SOCKET BEARINGS HAVE A BELOW SPECIFICATION CASE DEPTH AND/OR HARDNESS WHICH CAN LEAD TO PREMATURE WEAR OUT OF THE SOCKET IN SOME APPLICATIONS. Built 1999-06-14 to 2000-10-31.
01V0442072001-03-14. STEERING:LINKAGES:DRAG:LINK:CONNECTION. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH DRAG LINK ASSEMBLIES CONTAINING 24-DL MODEL BALL SOCKETS AND MANUFACTURED BY TRW. CERTAIN OF THE TIE ROD BALL-SOCKET BEARINGS HAVE A BELOW-SPECIFICATION CASE DEPTH AND/OR HARDNESS, WHICH CAN LEAD TO PREMATURE WEAR OF THE SOCKET. Built 1999-07-16 to 1999-09-03.
00V2461032000-10-04. STEERING:LINKAGES:TIE ROD ASSEMBLY. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH TRW TIE ROD ENDS ON CERTAIN MERITOR AXLES. THE TIE ROD AND DRAG LINK BALL STUD ENDS CONTAIN BEARINGS THAT ARE BELOW THE SPECIFIED CASE DEPTH AND/OR HARDNESS. Built 1999-07-01 to 1999-10-31.
00V2300032000-10-04. VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CLASS 8 TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH FELSTED ELECTRONIC ACCELERATOR PEDALS. THE RETURN SPRINGS CAN BREAK ON THE ACCELERATOR PEDALS THAT ARE EQUIPPED WITH STAINLESS STEEL OR ELECTROPLATED WIRE RETURN SPRINGS. Built 1999-02-01 to 2000-08-31.
00V2320092000-09-13. SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:ANTILOCK. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS BUILT WITH BENDIX AIR ABS WITH AN EC-17 1030R ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT (ECU), THERE HAVE BEEN REPORTS OF UNWANTED ABS ACTIVATION AT LOW SPEEDS CAUSED BY 1) CHAFED ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSOR WIRES ON ROTATING PARTS OR 2) A DAMAGED COMPONENT AT THE WHEEL END THAT GENERATES A CERTAIN TYPE OF ERRATIC SENSOR SIGNAL. Built 1998-07-01 to 2000-08-15.

20033142003-12-05. Suspension. On certain vehicles, a manufacturing defect in the unitized hub assemblies could result in premature spalling of the front wheel bearings, which in turn could lead to eventual breakdown of the bearing, possible front wheel separation and loss of vehicle control amidst the presence of warning signals such as activation of ABS warning light, steering wheel vibration, brake drag, noise, and vehicle pull. Correction: Dealer will replace both front hub assemblies.
20021892002-10-15. Brakes. On certain vehicles, additional axles were installed to increase the gross vehicle weight capacity but the parking brake capacity was not increased accordingly therefore not complying with CMVSS 121 regulations. Correction: The dealer will perform repairs as necessary.
20021322002-07-22. Steering. Certain heavy-duty trucks equipped with TRW 20-EDL Ball Sockets were manufactured with a case depth and/or hardness that were below specifications. A bearing that is below specification may prematurely wear-out the ball socket, which, in turn, may lead to a separation of the tie rod. Correction: Dealers will replace the tie rods.
20020592002-03-26. Steering. Certain heavy-duty trucks equipped with TRW tie rod ends on certain Meritor axles. The tie rod and drag link ball stud ends contain bearings that are below the specified case depth and/or hardness. This can lead to premature wear with possible separation of the ball stud from the socket, increasing the risk of loss of control of the vehicle. Correction: Dealers will remove and replace all affected tie rods and drag links with different designed ends. Trucks that have been repaired under recall 00v246103/SC0262 will not be re-recalled. Trucks only inspected and determined to have an acceptable date code under SC0262 will be recalled under this campaign.
20020342002-02-27. Steering. Certain heavy-duty trucks equipped with drag link assemblies containing 24-DL model ball sockets and manufactured by TRW. Certain of the tie rod ball-socket bearings have a below-specification case depth and/or hardness, which can lead to premature wear of the socket. If this condition occurs, the driver can lose partial control of the right front wheel, possibly resulting in a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the defective drag links.
20002642000-11-14. Steering. On certain vehicles, the TRW tie rod ball stud ends contain bearings that are below the specified case depth and/or hardness. This can lead to premature wear out and a possible separation of the ball stud from the socket and loss of steering control. Correction: All affected tie rods will be replaced.
20002482000-10-26. Engine. On certain vehicles, the return springs on the accelerator pedals are made of stainless steel or electroplated music wire. The design fatigue stress of the stainless steel springs is in a range that would predict that some failures would occur. The music wire springs can fail due to stress risers created by electrical arcing during electroplating. Correction: Accelerator pedals will be replaced with ones equipped with return springs manufactured of music wire with one additional coil on each spring and with an organic coating, eliminating electroplating.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
