Service bulletins for the 2027 Lincoln Navigator

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM 552292026-10-13. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2025-2027 Navigator vehicles equipped with a second row floor console may experience a sliding cover over the cup holders that has become separated. Engineering is aware of this condition and is investigating a service solution that will enhance the performance of the cup holder slider. This solution is expected to be available by the end of Q1 2027. If the customer is not willing to wait for the enhanced service solution, replacement of the second row floor console cup holder assembly is acceptable. Note that the replacement of the cup holder assembly will have similar performance attributes for the slider as the original cup holder assembly that is being replaced. Should the customer choose to wait for the enhanced service solution, schedule an appointment with the customer when the repair is made available in Q1 2027. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for updates.

SSM 551682026-09-15. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY. Some 2027 Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with power running boards may exhibit an intermittent condition where the power running boards are unable to deploy or retract with a "Power Running Board Fault" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). Diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) C1008:15 and/or C1009:15 may be stored in the driver seat module (DSM). DTC U0208 and/or U0244 may also be stored in various other modules. Other DSM functions may be affected such as heated/cooled/memory seats. This may be due to the software in the DSM.

If the DSM does not respond during a network test, press the power seat adjustment switch then re-run the network test to see if DSM communication is restored. Engineering requires feedback for this action. Submit a Global Concern Report (GCR) indicating if DSM communication was restored after actuating the power seat adjustment switch, noting the DTCs present. To submit a report, click on the "Submit Global Concern Report (GCR)" link at the upper right of the Professional Technician System (PTS) Vehicle ID screen (vehicle identification number ÝVIN¨ requi
SSM 551072026-09-01. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2027 Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with power running boards may exhibit an intermittent condition where the power running boards are unable to deploy or retract when entering or exiting the vehicle with a "Power Running Board Fault" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). This may be due to the software in the driver front seat module (DSM). Replacing components and reprogramming software will not resolve this issue. Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a software solution for this condition that is expected to be available by Q4 2026. If a vehicle comes in for this condition, inform the customer that powering the vehicle off for 5 minutes with all of the doors closed will temporarily restore operation of the power running boards. Once available, software will update automatically if vehicle connectivity is enabled in the vehicles settings. Schedule a service visit for customers who have disabled vehicle connectivity or who report that they did not receive the update by November 2026. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and
