Service bulletins for the 2021 Lincoln Nautilus

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

132 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

Bulletins, newest first
SSM 518232023-08-11. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL; POWER TRAIN. This may be due to fluid contamination in the rear drive unit (RDU). Drain and refill the RDU, refer to Workshop Manual Section (WSM) 205-02. Drive for 5 miles (8 km) in stop and go conditions with right and left turns and re-evaluate. If the issue is still present, continue with normal WSM diagnostics. SSM 502722021-12-07. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; COMMUNICATION:MANUFACTURER TELEMATICS; EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Some 2021 Bronco, Edge/Nautilus customers may be unable to authorize the FordPass/LincolnWay app and the Enable Connected Services prompt is not showing in the SYNC screen with no diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) present in the telematics control unit (TCU) or the gateway module A (GWM). Before any repair attempts, try to authorize the vehicle via FordPass/LincolnWay app in order to verify the concern is still present. If the concern is present, make sure the GWM is at the latest software level. Start a new FDRS session and make sure the TCU is at the latest software level. If no software updates are available, remove the TCU and GWM fuses to reset the modules. Make sure the customer is able to authorize the vehicle from FordPass/LincolnWay to confirm the repair. If the concern is still present, follow normal diagnostics in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 415-00.
