Service bulletins for the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Bulletins, newest first
TSB 19-21042019-05-06. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2019 Edge and Nautilus vehicles built on or before 14-Nov-2018 equipped with a power liftgate may exhibit a discharged battery, interior lamps cycling on and off erratically and/or a Liftgate Ajar message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) when the liftgate/doors are shut. This may be due to the calibration of the rear gate trunk module (RGTM) keeping the module awake. Reprogram the RGTM using the latest software level of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool.
TSB 19-20462019-04-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Some 2019 Edge/Nautilus vehicles equipped with a 2.0L EcoBoost engine, built on or before 23-Jan-2019 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0128, P0217, P02EE, P02EF, P02F0, P02F1, P044C, P1285, P1299, and/or P2196 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to various settings in the PCM software. To resolve the condition, update the PCM software.
SSM 478772019-04-03. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. 2018-2019 Navigator, 2019 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit a stuck in park and or no start condition with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P27B2 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) or transmission control module (TCM) memory. The condition may occur when the customer exits remote start and selects either REVERSE or DRIVE without first depressing the brake pedal. Disconnect the battery for 2 minutes and clear the DTCs. Advise the customer to first apply and hold the brake pedal before selecting REVERSE or DRIVE after a remote start event. Do not attempt any repairs at this time. Engineering is investigating, monitor OASIS for updates.
SSM 478732019-04-03. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2019 Edge/Nautilus vehicles built on or before 07-Mar-2019 may exhibit an inoperative power liftgate with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B144F:79 stored in the rear gate trunk module (RGTM). This may be due to the calibration of the RGTM. To resolve the concern, reprogram the RGTM using the latest software level of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool. For claiming use causal part number 14B291 and Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
SSM 477392019-03-04. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; TIRES. Some 2019 Nautilus vehicles may encounter an issue during the EPDI process where the vehicle does not communicate properly or the EPDI tool will not accept the tire placard specification of 33 psi for 245/60R18 tire size equipped units. If the vehicle fails to communicate during EPDI, technicians should disable transport mode by depressing the brake pedal 5 times and then turning the hazards on/off twice within 10 seconds of turning the key on. Proceed with the inspection and manually enter the results into the online tool. The concern of not being able to communicate with the EPDI tool is not indicative of a vehicle issue. Submission of the inspection results using the online tool is required for claims payment of PDI allowance. Engineering is investigating, monitor OASIS for updates.
