Service bulletins for the 2023 Lincoln Corsair
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 51762 | 2023-07-03. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM). Some 2021-2023 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 may exhibit the navigation feature in the center display screen only displaying imperial units and not being able to change to metric. This may be due to the software level of the SYNC module (APIM). This issue does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition and will be released via Ford Power-Up software updates delivered over-the-air (OTA) expected in September 2023. Software will update automatically if vehicle connectivity is enabled in the vehicles settings. Schedule a service visit for customers who have disabled vehicle connectivity or who report that they did not receive the update in September 2023. Monitor OASIS for additional information. |

| SSM 51676 | 2023-06-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Some 2023 Corsair vehicles may exhibit a continuous memory diagnostic trouble code (CMDTC) U0100 stored in the audio front control module (ACM) and/or instrument panel cluster (IPC) after a self test is performed with Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. If the vehicle does not exhibit any observable symptoms, these DTCs can be ignored. If any observable symptoms are present, refer to normal Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics. |
| TSB 23-2156 | 2023-05-31. Service bulletin. LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES. Some 2020-2023 Escape/Corsair, 2021-2023 Bronco Sport and 2022-2023 Maverick vehicles may exhibit a condition where the door(s) do not open using the exterior door handle(s). This may be due to an enabled permanent engagement inertia lock within the exterior door handle, this condition occurs when the doors are closed or opened with excessive force. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to properly disengage the permanent engagement inertia lock clip to allow the exterior door handle(s) to fully extend and open the door(s) from the exterior. |
| TSB 23-2139 | 2023-05-17. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. This article supersedes TSB 22-2278 to update the vehicle model years affected and the part list. For 2020-2023 Escape/Corsair vehicles, the roof opening panel frame mechanism kits have been released for service. These components can now be serviced separately and no longer require replacement of the entire roof opening panel frame. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to install the roof opening panel frame mechanism kit. |
| SSM 51536 | 2023-05-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. For 2000-2024 Ford and Lincoln vehicles, swapping a module from a vehicle for diagnosis purposes is likely to cause errors and is not recommended. It is also not recommended to order a replacement module using a vehicle identification number (VIN) from a different vehicle. Most modules on these affected vehicles are VIN/vehicle specific and hardware variations between modules do exist. Swapping a module from a vehicle or ordering a module using a different vehicle/VIN can cause ineffective repairs and additional vehicle down time. Make sure all appropriate Workshop Manual (WSM) procedures are followed when diagnosing the condition prior to all module replacements and only order modules using the correct VIN. |
| SSM 51513 | 2023-04-06. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2021-2023 Ford and Lincoln vehicles may exhibit a condition where the high voltage battery stops charging when connected to level 1 or level 2 chargers with an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) and diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P2C94 stored in the secondary on-board diagnostic control module A (SOBDM). To restore charging capability, disconnect the off-board charging station charge handle from the vehicle charge port and reconnect. This condition does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in June 2023. Replacement of the SOBDM will not resolve this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information. |
| SSM 51215 | 2022-11-30. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2020-2023 Lincoln Aviator and 2020-2022 Lincoln Corsair vehicles may exhibit courtesy lamps not illuminating with a door open or always on. Also, ambient lighting may be inoperative or always on. If this concern occurs, check the center console cup holder area for evidence of liquid intrusion first. Liquid can short the local interconnect network (LIN) circuit. Temporarily disconnect the console inline connector(s) during diagnosis to isolate circuit shorts. Search Wiring Diagram (WD) for *cup holder ambient* to display the related connectors. If a short is found in cup holder ambient light ring light emitting diode (LED) connector, repair as necessary. If no evidence of liquid intrusion is found, continue with normal Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics. |
| SSM 51011 | 2022-08-15. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Some 2018-2022 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with the 8F35 transmission built on or before 16-Mar-2022 may exhibit transmission slip during acceleration from a stop when hot. This may be due damaged internal case half pump seals (7N265). To correct the condition, remove the transmission and replace the internal case half pump seals. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-01. |
