Service bulletins for the 2020 Lincoln Corsair
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| TSB 19-2386 | 2020-01-07. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Some 2019-2020 Edge/Nautilus/Transit Connect and 2020 Escape/Corsair vehicles equipped with a 8F35 transmission may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0766 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) and/or intermittent no reverse engagement concerns. This may be due to contamination in the main control valve body separator plate orifice. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to clean the contamination from the main control plate. |
| SSM 48345 | 2019-12-05. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some 2019-2020 Edge/Escape/Nautilus/Corsair vehicles equipped with 2.0L EcoBoost engines may exhibit low coolant, white smoke from the tailpipe, an over temperature warning in the instrument panel cluster (IPC), external coolant leaking, and/or illuminated MIL with DTCs P0217, P0401, P1026, P1285, P1299, P2196 or P2467 stored in the PCM. This may be due to an EGR Cooler that is leaking coolant into the engine intake and exhaust system. The EGR cooler should be inspected first to detect the presence of any internal leaks by a visual inspection and a pressure test as defined in the Workshop Manual (WSM). If any coolant is found leaking from the coolant chamber into the exhaust chamber, replace the EGR cooler. If no issues are detected with the EGR cooler, continue repair diagnosis using standard diagnostic procedures as defined in the WSM. |
