Issue: In some cases, vehicles that have been updated to InControl Touch Pro with version 18b, the infotainment system can no longer provide Navigation destination entry via voice control.
SSM739332018-09-17. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL. Issue: A customer may report an audible sound (groan type noise) from under bonnet immediately after the vehicle is unlocked and the vehicle stationary. The sound will extinguish after several seconds and is generated by the Acoustic Vehicle Alert System (AVAS) sounder fitted to Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). The AVAS is located behind the grille at the front of the vehicle. Cause: Software error in the Audio Amplifier Module (AAM) related to a communication timing error during wake up when vehicle is unlocked.

Issue: In some cases, vehicle functionality concerns have been identified which either prevent the software update to the InControl Touch Pro system, or cause system functionality concerns after the infotainment system was successfully updated.

Issue: A customer may report that the Head Up Display (HUD) feature does not display cruise control information on the inside of the windscreen following selection via the instrument panel menu. Affecting 18MY vehicles only manufactured with non-adaptive cruise control.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has developed the latest software upgrade in response to customer feedback on the performance of the InControl© Touch Pro? system. This software upgrade is designed to enhance the robustness of the following features and functions: ? System unable to read Compact Discs (CD) and/or Digital Versatile Discs (DVD) with an error message may be displayed on the Touchscreen. ? Touchscreen does not refresh. ? Touchscreen fails to reboot after recently being turned OFF. ? CD folder names are titled incorrectly as random numbers and the audio track identification numbers are displayed in the incorrect order. ? Media Player - when ripping CDs to Solid State Drive (SSD), the files are stored and playback is in the order that they are ripped in and not sequential by track ID. ? No sound can be heard while operating the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) with the Touchscreen. ? Voice - poor performance. ? Internet - no response.

Issue: JLR are currently investigating 'Traction Reduced' message displayed on the Instrument Cluster (IC) message center and DTC U2000-4B logged within the Rear Differential Control Module (RDCM).

Issue: JLR are currently investigating 'Traction Reduced' message displayed on the Instrument Cluster (IC) message center and DTC U2000-4B logged within the Rear Differential Control Module (RDCM).
SSM736992018-01-29. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. ISSUE: Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) have received multiple reports of concerns experienced when updating vehicles equipped with InControl Touch Pro to latest software version NGI 17C on both Symptom Driven Diagnostics (SDD) and PATHFINDER. Additional vehicle feedback data shows that the failure rate is increasing, despite the many improvements made in Pathfinder 123 and SDD 152.00. JLR recommend that no further vehicles are routinely updated to NGI 17C. (Note below reference urgent vehicles only.)

Customers may have experienced infotainment poor performance/reliability and this software upgrade is designed to enhance the robustness of the following features and functions: * Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS) lock up, audio loss, channel artwork not displayed * Infotainment Master Controller (IMC) resets, blank screens, and poor system performance * CD ripping/playback issues * Camera stability issues when reverse selected * Media Player crash, library track select fails, USB Source reliability * Phone and Bluetooth - connection and contacts download issues * Climate control fan symbol not visible when increasing/decreasing fan speed * The heated seat temperature indication is misaligned to the vehicle image on the Touchscreen * Unable to access the seat massage auto function on the Touchscreen * 'Camera System Not Available, Consult Your Dealer' message displayed on the Instrument Cluster (IC) upon vehicle set up.
