Service bulletins for the 2022 Kia EV6

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

TSB_ELE2742022-12-06. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: SERVICE ACTION: LED HEADLAMP AIM INSPECTION & ADJUSTMENT (SA518) - This bulletin provides the procedure to inspect and, if necessary, adjust the headlamp aim on some 2022-2023MY EV6 (CV) vehicles equipped with Light Emitting Diode (LED) headlamps, produced from August 31, 2022 through November 8, 2022. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) is a well-known organization that conducts supplemental testing to evaluate certain aspects of vehicle performance. As a result of such testing, Kia and IIHS have determined that improvements could be made to adjust headlamp aim to improve the focus and reduce glare from the headlamps to oncoming traffic. It should be noted that this condition is not a Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) compliance issue.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
