A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SC273A_OWNR | 2023-08-24. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EXTERIOR LIGHTING. VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN: OWNER NOTIFICATION - This document is the owner notification advising that Kia America, Inc. is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to upgrade the Vehicle Control Unit (“VCU”) software logic in certain 2022-2023 MY EV6 vehicles. Kia is conducting this Voluntary Service Campaign to improve the VCU software logic so that the vehicle’s brake lights illuminate during i-Pedal mode when the vehicle reaches a certain deceleration threshold even if you do not release the accelerator pedal fully or depress the brake pedal. Also, this software upgrade will improve the electronic shift logic so that the vehicle will shift into PARK (P) automatically when the auxiliary battery's (12v) voltage is critically low and the vehicle is stationary. |
| PS747 | 2023-06-01. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE; PARKING BRAKE; POWER TRAIN. PITSTOP: MAINTAIN NEUTRAL (N) POSITION FOR AN AUTOMATED CARWASH - This bulletin provides information on how to maintain the Neutral (N) position on 2022MY~ EV6 (CV) vehicles when using an automated car wash. When the vehicle is in 'READY' mode, safety systems are active and can unexpectedly apply either the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) and/or shift into Park (P) when events such as opening the doors, unlatching seatbelts and/or vehicle rollback is detected. This can cause issues when using an automated car wash, particularly those where the vehicle is sent through without a driver. |
