| 2024744 | 2024-12-09. Brakes. Issue: On certain trucks, poor signal strength could cause the electronic control unit (ECU) to stop working or not to work properly. As a result, some safety systems may not work, including the antilock braking system, automatic traction control, electronic stability control, active cruise control and the collision mitigation system. Safety Risks: Vehicle safety systems that don't work correctly could increase the risk of a crash. This could also cause the engine to stall while driving. Note: This recall only affects trucks equipped with an L9/PX-9 engine. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Additionally, a sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: PACCAR and/or Cummins will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a Cummins authorized service centre to install improved fuel filter hoses. |
| 2023070 | 2023-02-15. Brakes. Issue: On certain trucks, when the brake pedal is fully applied and released quickly, the pedal plunger could jam or disconnect from the brake valve. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. |
| 2022410 | 2022-07-28. Steering. Issue: On certain trucks, the steering gear may not have been assembled correctly. As a result, the steering gear could break and cause a loss of steering. Corrective Actions: PACCAR will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a Cummins authorized service center to replace the fuel hoses. |
