Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following DTCs have been set: P050B - Cold Start Ignition Timing Performance. P0456 - EVAP System Small Leak.If DTC P0456 is present use the wiTECH Small Leak Verification test (SLVT) to determine if a leak is present in the system. Customers or technicians may experience the following:Vehicle will intermittently not start(South Korea Only). Poor fuel economy. Intermittently stalls at idle. Slight pinging noise while accelerating, and poor performance. Unable to see the model year of the vehicle through the On Board Diagnostic (OBD).

Positive Generator Battery Cable Location Re-Route This bulletin involves re-routing the position of the generator positive battery cable. The generator positive battery cable may come into contact with the generator drive belt pulley.

The customer may also experience an intermittent MIL ?Exterior Bulb Failure Indicator? illumination and anyexterior lights or bulbs are malfunctioning, followed by the DTC's: B100A-15 - Combined Rear Right Stop And Park Ch 1 - Circuit Short To Battery Or Open. B100B-15 - Combined Rear Left Stop And Park Ch 2 - Circuit Short To BatteryOr Open. B100C-15 - Combined Rear Right Stop And Park Ch 2 - Circuit Short To Battery Or Open.

Customers may notice after locking the car, two horn chirps are heard, under normal operation only one horn chirp is heard. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC): U1413-09 - UAM (Ultrasonic and Antitilt Module) - Component Failures. Vehicles with Premium Security Alarm (Sales Code LSC) In addition, the customer may notice one or more of the following: Rear windows are inoperative and will not roll down. Brake lights will intermittently remain on. Intermittently, unable to turn on high beam headlights.
