MODULE Steering Control Before replacing the steering column control module (SCCM), please follow these steps: 1.- Make sure all the switches' and airbag's harness are properly connected, disconnect the switches and reconnect them, and reverify the issue. 2.- Pull the SCCM fuse for 60 sec and then reinstall it. 3.- Reverify if Steering wheel switches are inoperative. If there are no DTC's, physical defects, nor switches inop, then SCCM does not need to be replaced.

A dealer may find vehicles equipped with RVC only, sales code XAC, may set U0565-00 erroneously in the radio. This fault code will not cause any operational issues. The rear camera is sending implausible data to the radio at times. If the technician is working on a vehicle with the above condition, a technician should not replace any parts if RVC is operating without any issues. Replacement cameras will set the same DTC without any operational complaints. Engineering is working on an update to improve the erroneous DTC from setting and the field will be notified upon completion."
