This is part of a two step FOTA update, first update brings software level to 22.61 and this second FOTA update will take the software to 22.64. National launch for this second step is May 24, 2021. Customers may experience one or more of the following:Navigation is incorrect or can not calculate route. GPS locations is inaccurate. Uconnect radio apps are all inoperable. Backup camera screen is blue (DT and KL). Green horizontal lines appear across screen (DT and KL). Anti-theft code request message. Backup camera screen is blank. Lines appear across screen. Radio control screen is blank or locked. Radio reset intermittently. Unable to adjust audio volume. Unable to switch modes between AM, FM, SAT or Media. In addition the following enhancements are included in this update:Carplay® connectivity improvement. Improvement to Bluetooth® phone pairing. Bluetooth devices unresponsive. Improved sound quality when using a Bluetooth phone.

Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following DTCs have been set: DTC P1DD2 will be stored in the Transmission Control Module (TCM) however no DTCs will be stored in the PCM. Verify no unrelated codes are stored in the PCM before flashing. If codes are stored in the PCM, normal diagnosis should be performed.B25C9 - Driver Door Ajar Switch 2 Stuck Closed. P061A - Level 2 Torque Performance. P06E9 - Engine Starter Performance(North America Only). C050D - Wheel Speed Signal Left Rear Rationality. C0501 - Wheel Speed Signal Left Front Rationality. C0507 - Wheel Speed Signal Right Front Rationality. C0513 - Wheel Speed Signal Right Rear Rationality. P1DD2 - Torque Request Signal From TCM Denied will be present, set by the TCM and the vehicle will be in limp home mode(Sales Codes DF5 and DF7 - Automatic Transmission Vehicles Only). U1428 - Inaccurate Engine Torque Received(Sales Codes DF5 and DF7 Only). Customers may also comment on one of the following:Long engine cranking prior to vehicle start more noticeable when the outside temperature is above 40°c (104°f)(EMEA with Sales Code ED6 only). Poor shift quality. Lack of vehicle speed. Vehicle will intermittently not start(South Korea Only). The vehicle is in limp home mode (shift RPMs are limited) with no DTCs set (Sales Code DE1 - Manual Transmission Vehicles Only).

Please do NOT replace the head unit if the customer has or plans to have a connectivity service plan. New software will be released to fix this later. ?Verify if the radio software version is on CR16.xx or GR18.xx ?Check if the customer has an active connectivity plan or plan to activate connectivity features. ?Do NOT replace the radio head unit If the answers to above questions are YES ?Do NOT disconnect battery, pull off the radio fuse, radio hard reset, or clear personal data. Those activities will reset the server connection and result in loss of connectivity. ?Do not replace the radio if the customer has experienced connectivity issue. A new radio with same software is not able to resolve the connectivity issue. Refer to SOL S2208000070 for more information.
