DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE: An issue has been identified on a limited number of Jaguar vehicles (R-Sport variants only) within the listed Affected Vehicle Range may have been manufactured away from the required specification. In some cases, incorrect black paddle shifters have been installed instead of the correct chrome paddle shifters.
SSM735432017-10-21. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM). Issue: The Solid State Drive (SSD) within the Infotainment Master Controller (IMC) fails on vehicles fitted with InControl Touch Pro audio systems which causes Navigation, Speech and Media Library to be unavailable to the customer with the message 'System Warming Up' displayed on any attempt to use the features.

JTB00579NAS12017-10-21. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. Situation: One or more of the following may be evident: ? '2 Wheel Drive Only Traction Reduced' message is displayed on the Instrument Cluster. ? The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is illuminated on the Instrument Cluster. During diagnosis, the technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) U0001-87 stored in the Transmission Control Module (TCM).
JTB00575NAS12017-10-21. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. SITUATION: On vehicles fitted with the InControl© Touch? Information and Entertainment System, the system may intermittently and without user input 'reset' -- the touchsceen will become blank and then display the Jaguar logo.
SSM734922017-10-21. Service bulletin. WHEELS; STEERING. Issue: A customer may report a concern relating to a noise from the right hand front wheel area at slow speeds. The noise is more evident when a slight steering input is applied to the steering wheel. The noise may be evident up to speeds of approximately 20mph.

DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE: An issue has been identified on a limited number of Jaguar vehicles within the listed Affected Vehicle Range where the steering gear tie-rod end ball joints have not been suitably sealed from exterior weather conditions. Water or other contaminants may be able to enter the steering gear tie-rod end ball joints which could lead to the ball joint developing a knocking noise after long exposure.
SSM730952017-10-15. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:DIESEL. Issue: Ingenium I4 2.0L Diesel vehicles which are logging P026A-77 - Charge Air Cooler Efficiency Below Threshold and P023B-11 - Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump Control Circuit Low - Circuit short to ground within the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). This diagnostic is directing retailers to replace the Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump (T2H2556), however a number of these parts have been returned and no faults have been found.

JTB00572NAS12017-10-15. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EXTERIOR LIGHTING. Situation: The engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) may be illuminated and the message 'restricted performance' may be displayed on the Instrument Cluster (IC). Upon further diagnosis, Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P062F is stored in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

Situation: In response to customer feedback on the performance of the InControl® Touch Pro? system, Jaguar Land Rover has developed a software upgrade. Customers may have experienced infotainment poor performance/reliability and this software upgrade is designed to enhance the robustness of the following features and functions: ? Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS) lock up, audio loss, channel artwork not displayed ? Infotainment Master Controller (IMC) resets, blank screens, and poor system performance ? CD ripping/playback issues ? Media Player crash, library track select fails, USB Source reliability ? Phone and Bluetooth? - connection and contacts download issues ? Climate control fan symbol not visible when increasing/decreasing fan speed ? The heated seat temperature indication is misaligned to the vehicle image on the Touchscreen ? Unable to access the seat massage auto function on the Touchscreen ? The activation of the massage seats is reversed (the left seat massage program icon operates the right seat and the right seat massage program icon operates the left seat) ? 'Camera System Not Available, Consult Your Dealer' message displayed on the Instrument Cluster upon vehicle set up.

SSM735492017-10-15. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; BACK OVER PREVENTION; LANE DEPARTURE; VISIBILITY. Issue: At PDI or at normal service, the dealer may find DTC - U3000 - 49 Control Module internal electronic failure ? recorded in the Side Object Detection Left (SODL) or Side Object Detection Right(SODR) without any customer impact on the Blind Spot Monitor features.

SSM735422017-10-15. Service bulletin. ENGINE; POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Issue: Rattle noise from turbo waste gate actuator which is more evident from engine cold start but also when engine is under slight load and on overrun.
