Recalls that may apply to the 2014 International Workstar

A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

United States: NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19
15V7760002015-11-20. VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL. Navistar, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 International ProStar and DuraStar trucks manufactured April 26, 2012, to April 4, 2013, WorkStar trucks manufactured April 27, 2012, to March 29, 2013, LoneStar trucks manufactured May 21, 2012, to April 2, 2013, and TranStar trucks manufactured April 30, 2012, to March 25, 2013. In the affected vehicles, the accelerator pedal position sensor can move and result in a high engine idle. Built 2012-04-27 to 2013-03-29.
15V2410002015-04-22. VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM:FAN/MOTOR. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain model year 2011-2015 International DuraStar, ProStar, TranStar and WorkStar, 2012-2015 International TerraStar, 2013-2015 International LoneStar and IC Bus HC, and 2014-2015 IC Bus AC vehicles. A vehicle double battery jump start or electrical load dump event could result in an overvoltage condition of a component within the HVAC system linear power module (LPM) which is used to control the blower speed. The overvoltage condition could result in the overheating and failure of the LPM. Built 2010-08-12 to 2014-03-10.
14V8070002014-12-22. EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 International WorkStar vehicles manufactured March 16, 2012, to October 1, 2014. In the affected vehicles, the headlight low beam and ground circuits may have been reversed at the headlight connector resulting in reduced light output. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Built 2012-03-16 to 2014-10-01.
14V2010002014-04-17. SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:DISC:CALIPER. Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 International DuraStar vehicles manufactured November 2012 through December 2013, International WorkStar vehicles manufactured December 2012 through January 2014, and 2014-2015 International TranStar and International ProStar vehicles manufactured January 2013 through February 2014. The affected vehicles are built with air disc brake feature codes 04WEY, 04WEZ, or 04WZK. These vehicles may have an incorrect number of bolts mounting the brake caliper to the caliper mounting plate and some of the bolts may be improperly torqued. Built 2012-12-01 to 2014-01-30.

20155462015-11-18. Engine. On certain vehicles equipped with Navistar engines, the accelerator pedal position sensor could move on its mounting bracket if the pedal is depressed with excessive force. If the sensor stator were to move out of position, it could change the sensor signal output, resulting in a high idle. On vehicles equipped with manual transmissions, if the clutch were to be depressed during operation, the engine could rise to governed RPMs resulting in difficulty selecting gears while shifting. In the condition of a loaded vehicle going down a long grade, the inability to down shift could cause difficulty in maintaining or reducing vehicle speed with just the service brakes, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will recalibrate the engine Electronic Control Module (ECM) to eliminate the high idle condition.
20151712015-04-22. Electrical. On certain vehicles, a double battery (24 volt) jump start or electrical load dump could result in an overvoltage condition of the linear power module (LPM) which is used to control the heater/air conditioning blower motor speed. If this were to occur, this overvoltage condition could lead to the LPM overheating, causing smoke, and increase the risk of fire, which could result in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the LPM with an upgraded design.
20145742014-12-17. Lights And Instruments. Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. Headlight electrical connections may have been reversed at time of assembly, causing reduced headlight photometric output. This could cause the vehicle to fail to comply with the requirements of the standard, decreasing driver visibility and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will correct the wiring.
20141412014-04-22. Brakes. On certain vehicles equipped with air disc brakes, the brake caliper bolts may have been insufficiently tightened, or an insufficient number of bolts may have been installed at time of vehicle assembly. Loose or missing bolts could allow a caliper to detach from its mount, resulting in partial loss of brake function, which could increase stopping distance and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace missing bolts, if any, and tighten all caliper bolts to the specified torque.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
