Body Seal Retailer Inventory ***** Retailer Announcement ***** On March 3rd, 2017, Infiniti advised retailers of a retailer inventory quality action to apply body sealer on 1,936 specific 2017 QX30 vehicles identified in Service Comm. Infiniti asks that retailers stop repairing the affected vehicles immediately and wait for further information. Infiniti asks that retailers inspect the windshield of any affected vehicles that have already been repaired to date for cracks or chips associated with this repair. If damage is present, retailers should submit an order for a new windshield by Monday, March 20, 2017. Retailers are advised to claim windshield repair, if necessary, under normal warranty. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Body Seal Retailer Inventory ***** Retailer Announcement ***** Infiniti is conducting a retailer inventory quality action to apply body sealer on 1,936 specific 2017 QX30 vehicles identified in Service Comm. Certain vehicles may have a gap between the airbox lid and the bulkhead as a result of incorrectly applied paint and body sealer and/or incorrect fastening of the airbox lid. Retailers will apply additional sealer and ensure the airbox lid is correctly fastened to prevent water intrusion into the passenger compartment. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale and are either currently in retailer inventory or assigned and in transit to the retailer. Infiniti requests retailers complete this inspection prior to sale to ensure client satisfaction.

Halogen Headlamp Retailer Inventory ***** Retailer Announcement ***** Infiniti is conducting a retailer inventory quality action to update the Central Body Controller (CBC) software on 319 specific 2017 QX30 vehicles identified in Service Comm. On the affected vehicles, the CBC software is being updated to address a specification change. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale and are either currently in retailer inventory or assigned and in transit to the retailer. Infiniti requests retailers complete this software update prior to sale to ensure client satisfaction.

Vehicles produced November 3, 2016 and after (see VIN information on page 2) are equipped with a pushbutton ignition switch instead of a turning ignition swich.
