The 12V accessory socket outlet may have been over-tightened during installation, possibly disabling the thermal fuse and allowing the outlet to overheat with prolonged use, such as by using the Tire Mobility Kit air compressor to inflate a tire.
13V0510002013-02-19. VISIBILITY:SUN/MOON ROOF ASSEMBLY. Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
20240802024-02-08. Brakes. Issue: On certain vehicles, brake fluid could leak into the control module for the antilock brake system (ABS) and cause it to short circuit. Note: This recall replaces recall R0246 (Transport Canada recall number 2023-527). For the Sonata model, only the Sonata Hybrid model is affected by this recall. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuse for the ABS module. Hyundai recommends that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed.
20231252023-03-08. Brakes. Issue: Hyundai is conducting a special service campaign that provides anti-corrosion treatment to certain underbody components. Over time, components under the vehicle, including brake lines could corrode. If this happens, a brake line could fail and leak. A brake fluid leak can result in reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause an extended stopping distance and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the underbody, including the brake lines. The dealer will apply an anti-corrosion treatment to certain parts, and replace the brake lines if necessary.
20231022023-02-28. Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles, the rear parking assist sensors (mounted in the rear bumper) could short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to replace the rear parking assist sensor fuse and any defective sensors. Hyundai recommends that if the instrument cluster does not work, the transmission shifter is stuck in park, or if you see melted plastic on the rear bumper, you should park the vehicle outside and contact a Hyundai dealer.
20216742021-11-04. Engine. Issue: Hyundai Auto Canada is conducting a Product Improvement Campaign that provides an update to the engine control module to detect potential problems before an engine fails. An engine failure would cause a sudden loss of power with an inability to restart. Note: This only affects Santa Fe models equipped with a 2.4 L MPI engine, and Veloster models with a 1.6 L GDI engine. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of an accident. An engine failure could also create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the software for the engine control module. Note: Hyundai recommends that you should always follow the correct vehicle maintenance schedule, which is printed in the Owner's Manual. If you experience unusual engine noise, reduced power, or a check engine/oil warning light, Hyundai advises you to immediately visit a Hyundai dealership to have your vehicle diagnosed.
20124192012-12-11. Brakes. On certain vehicles, infiltration of moisture and road grime into the parking brake mechanism may eventually lead to corrosion and failure. As such, this may result in rear brake noise, the parking brake not releasing, or the inability to properly apply the parking brake. Should the vehicle be parked on a sufficient slope, the inability to apply the parking brake could result in unintended vehicle movement, which could cause a crash resulting in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the rear brake caliper assemblies.
20124182012-12-11. Other. On certain vehicles, the panoramic sunroof glass may have been damaged during an automated assembly procedure at the factory. This damage may result in subsequent fracture of the sunroof glass. Sunroof glass panel breakage, while the vehicle is in motion, could cause driver distraction, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Additionally, broken glass inside the vehicle poses a risk of injury to vehicle occupants. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the panoramic sunroof glass assembly.
20113502011-09-26. Lights And Instruments. Certain vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. Although the daytime running lamps incorporate a feature that temporarily deactivates them on the side of the vehicle where the turn signal lamp is activated, one or both of the daytime running lamps could remain deactivated after repeated cycling of the turn signal switch. A loss of daytime running lamp illumination could render the vehicle less visible to other motorists and to pedestrians during daylight hours, possibly resulting in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will update the instrument panel module software.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
