Service bulletins for the 2022 Hyundai Nexo

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

25-BD-012H TSB2025-11-12. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING. This bulletin provides information regarding condensation related to the accumulated moisture in the headlamp, rear combination lamp, daytime running lamp (DRL), or fog lamp. This TSB illustrates the various causes of condensation inside the lamp assembly. Lamp assembly replacement is NOT necessary in most cases. This condition can be eliminated by turning on the lamps with the engine running for several minutes or during normal driving operation.
24-GI-003H2024-04-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. This bulletin is a reminder to exercise caution when painting the Nexo, Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV). During the painting processes, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) may enter the fuel cell through openings or micro gaps in the intake or exhaust piping for the fuel cell. VOCs may damage certain components in the fuel cell causing reduced fuel-cell performance. VOC chemicals can harm the fuel cell system's performance. Precaution must be taken to seal openings for the fuel cell system before painting or placing Nexo in a curing oven.
24-GI-002H2024-04-02. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. This bulletin provides a procedure to maintain the transmission in NEUTRAL such as pushing the vehicle without starting the fuel stack or when repairs require the transmission to be continuously maintained in NEUTRAL.
24-BD-001H2024-03-05. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY; VISIBILITY/WIPER. This bulletin contains information about the proper removal of the windshield wiper blade protective cover on all models. If the protective cover is not removed correctly, there is a possibility of the rubber insert and rail spring becoming partially separated on the inner side of the wiper blade, which could lead to poor wiping performance and/or possible scratching of the windshield glass. Follow the procedure in this bulletin to properly remove the windshield wiper blade protective cover on all new wiper blades.
23-EM-005H2023-12-15. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. This bulletin provides important checkpoint guidelines when performing engine oil and filter change services.

23-01-040H2023-05-04. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, OTHER. Some NEXO (FE) vehicles may exhibit charging interruptions during hydrogen charging due to sensitive leak detection logic diagnostic conditions. This bulletin outlines the procedure to update the HMU controller software and replace the PRV (Pressure Relief Valve).
23-BD-007H2023-05-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Hyundai applies a Paint Protection Film (PPF) on new vehicles before delivery to dealerships. It provides a barrier between the paint and contaminants, such as rail dust, acid rain, and industrial fallout. In rare cases, the paint can become clouded under the PPF. These spots are the result of moisture trapped between the PPF and the paint.
23-BD-002H2023-02-02. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY.
22-FL-005H2022-11-01. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. During certain repairs on Nexo vehicles, it may be necessary to defuel/vent the vehicle prior to repairs and then refuel the vehicle before returning it to the customer.
22-01-080H2022-11-01. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. Some NEXO (FE) vehicles may exhibit charging interruptions during hydrogen charging due to sensitive leak detection logic diagnostic conditions. 22-01-052H2022-08-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2022 Nexo (FE) vehicles may display the incorrect driving information (Trip, Avg., Timer) value in the “After Recharging” screen of the instrument cluster. This bulletin provides the service procedure to update the instrument cluster software to resolve the condition stated above.
22-GI-006H2022-08-05. Service bulletin. TIRES. Effective June 2, 2008, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 110 (FMVSS 110) established a threshold for correcting load carrying capacity information indicated on tire placards when vehicle weight has been increased before retail sale. This limit is the lesser of 1.5% of GVWR or 100 pounds. If the total added weight exceeds the lesser of the limit, a label must be added to the driver-side B-pillar within 25mm (1 inch) of the original tire placard.
