20263262026-07-02. Visual System. Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Honda dealer during recall O38 (Transport Canada recall no. 2020-345) may not be effective. As a result, certain vehicles require a second repair. On certain vehicles, moisture could enter the rearview camera and cause it not to work properly. If this happens, the rearview image may be distorted or not display at all. Also, the camera image may not appear in certain bright light conditions. Note: This recall replaces recall O38 (Transport Canada recall no. 2020-345). Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display properly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the rearview camera.
20262512026-05-21. Seats And Restraints. Issue: On certain vehicles, the weight sensor for the front passenger seat may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the passenger-front airbag and knee airbag could deploy in a crash that doesn't require them to. Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2024-059. If the weight sensor fails, the SRS warning light would turn on in the instrument panel. Safety Risk: An airbag system that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Note: Vehicles that received a software update previously under a Honda product update, campaign no. P01 - 'Incorrect Rear View Camera View Mode', don't require this repair. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display the correct view mode could reduce a driver's field of view behind the vehicle. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and have sent a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the vehicle software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Honda dealership.
20242622024-05-06. Fuel System. Issue: This recall is for low-pressure fuel pumps installed on certain vehicles or sold at dealerships as a replacement part. On certain vehicles, the low-pressure fuel pump could fail. If this happens, the engine may run rough or may not start and the check engine light may turn on. This could also result in a sudden loss of engine power while driving. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2023-679. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel pump motor.

As a result, the passenger-front airbag and knee airbag could deploy in a crash that doesn't require them to. Note: If the weight sensor fails, the SRS warning light would turn on in the instrument panel. Safety Risk: An airbag system that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership for an inspection if the SRS warning light is on. If the SRS warning light is on due to a faulty weight sensor, the weight sensor will be replaced. When repair parts are available, Honda will send you a second letter. They will advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the passenger-front seat weight sensor.
20236792023-12-18. Fuel System. This recall was replaced by Transport Canada recall no. 2024-262. If this happens, the engine may run rough or may not start and the check engine light may turn on. This could also result in a sudden loss of engine power while driving. Note: This is an expansion of Transport Canada recall nos. 2020-236 and 2021-182. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel pump motor.
20233502023-06-15. Visual System. Issue: On certain vehicles, the terminals on the coaxial cable for the audio display unit may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the audio display unit could lose its connection, and the rearview camera image may not display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the media oriented systems transport (MOST) cable harness, and install a cover over the audio display unit connector.
20231362023-03-16. Visual System. Issue: On certain vehicles, the side mirror glass may not be attached properly. As a result, the mirror glass could vibrate or fall off. Safety Risk: A missing mirror will reduce rear visibility and could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail. Due to a parts supply issue, Honda advises that you should only take your vehicle to a dealership if the mirror is loose, vibrating or has fully detached. Honda will send you a second notice when the replacement parts are available, and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the glass on both side mirrors.
20231272023-03-09. Seats And Restraints. Issue: On certain vehicles, the seat belt buckles for the driver and front-passenger seats could wear over time and may not latch securely. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the driver and front-passenger seat belt assemblies. In most cases, the seat belt buckle release buttons will be replaced. If the dealer determines that a buckle can't be repaired, it will be replaced with a new part.
20210122021-01-19. Fuel System. Issue: On certain vans converted for wheelchair access by BraunAbility, the fuel tank can be overfilled and fuel can enter the charcoal canister. If this happens, fuel can leak from the canister onto nearby components and the ground. Note: This problem only affects Honda Odyssey wheelchair vans with a power infloor side-entry ramp, which were altered between September 13, 2018 and December 3, 2020. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: BraunAbility will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a BraunAbility service center for an inspection. If there is evidence of a fuel leak, the dealer will install a new fuel tank assembly that has a different fill limit vent valve. The dealer will also replace the charcoal canister. A warning label will be applied on or near the fuel filler neck advising you not to overfill or "top off" the fuel tank.
20203432020-07-29. Structure. Issue: On certain vehicles, moisture can freeze in the door handle cables for the rear sliding doors. If this happens, the door handle could stick in the open position. This can cause the door not latch properly when it is closed. As a result, the door could open while driving. Safety Risk: A door that opens while driving could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the cables for the outer handles on the power sliding doors.
20203462020-07-28. Visual System. Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause a delay or prevent the rearview camera image from displaying. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display within 2 seconds of shifting the transmission into reverse gear. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that is delayed or that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and include instructions on how to download and install a software update to correct this problem. Alternatively, an owner can take their vehicle to a dealer to have the software update installed.
20203452020-07-28. Visual System. Issue: On certain vehicles, moisture could enter the rearview camera and cause it not work properly. If this happens, the rearview image may be distorted or not display at all. Also, the camera image may not appear in certain bright light conditions. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that does not display properly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the rearview camera.
20203442020-07-28. Visual System. Issue: On certain vehicles, there is a programming error in the instrument panel control module. This could cause the instrument panel not display certain information, such as the vehicle speed, engine oil pressure, and gear selector position. This can also cause the rearview camera image not to display. Safety Risk: An instrument panel that does not work or a rearview camera image that does not display could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to reprogram the instrument panel control module.
20200422020-02-06. Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles, the wiring for the accessory power outlet located near the third-row seat could get pinched.
