17V3050002017-05-04. ENGINE. Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2015-2016 Honda CR-V vehicles that recently received a replacement engine. The replacement engine may have been built with the wrong pistons, potentially affecting the engine's performance. Built 2015-02-09 to 2016-07-29.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
20150912015-02-27. Engine. On certain vehicles, during assembly, some of the connecting rod bolts may not have been torqued to the correct specification. If a connecting rod bolt was not torqued correctly, it could loosen and result in the engine making an unusual rattling/knocking noise, leaking oil, and/or engine failure. Engine failure would result in a loss of motive power, which would increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the engine short block.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
