Service bulletins for the 2015 Honda Civic

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

79 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

1508012022-05-09. Service bulletin. SEATS. EDITOR?S NOTE: This article replaces the one posted in December 2015 to extend the article?s shelf life. The issues covered are still being addressed. Does the front seat-back creak or squeak when you move around in the seat or get in or out of the vehicle? What?s likely causing it is the seat-back fabric rubbing against the foam pad underneath. This noise only happens when the seat gets hot (the seat temperature is over 104° F).
ATS-150801 V32021-05-14. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; SEATS:BARRIERS. Does the front seat-back creak or squeak when you move around in the seat or get in or out of the vehicle? What’s likely causing it is the seat-back fabric rubbing against the foam pad underneath. This noise only happens when the seat gets hot (the seat temperature is over 104° F). We’re aware of this concern and we’re currently working on a solution, so, at this time, there’s no product improvement available. Until there is, don’t try replacing the seat frame or the seat-back pad. You won’t get rid of this noise and you just might wind up with a come-back. Be sure to pass this info along to the service advisor so he or she can inform your customer of the situation.
