Service bulletins for the 2017 Honda Accord

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

103 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

ATS1806032018-06-18. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:CRANKCASE (PCV); FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. Tech line summary article - Have a vehicle in your shop with low mileage (less than 1,500 miles) and a hard-to-pinpoint engine knock? We're currently investigating vehicles for hairline fractures in the crankshaft sprocket, and we suspect it may be the cause for this noise. In some cases you may be able to see these fractures by just removing the crankshaft pulley; however, they can be very small and you may need to remove the cam chain to ensure a thorough inspection.
