Service bulletin A16120C

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

"SERVICENEWS ARTICLE - DO THOSE DUAL EXHAUST TIPS LOOK A BIT UNEVEN? CHANCES ARE ONE OF THE RUBBER EXHAUST HANGERS ISN’T PROPERLY INSTALLED. THE RUBBER EXHAUST HANGER IS DIRECTIONAL AND MUST BE INSTALLED WITH THE WORD UP IN ITS CENTER, FACING UP. IF IT’S NOT, THE MUFFLER WON’T HANG LIKE IT SHOULD AND THE ATTACHED EXHAUST TIP WILL LOOK UNEVEN WITH THE OTHER ONE."
