| 18V267000 | 2018-04-26. EQUIPMENT. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2009-2014 Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD, 2009 GMC Topkick 5000, 6000, 7000 and 8000 Series and Isuzu F Series, and 2009-2018 Chevrolet Express, and GMC Savana vehicles, equipped with certain Plastic-Handle Fire Extinguishers or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. For a full list of the affected fire extinguisher models visit: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17E062-5427.pdf Built 2008-09-25 to 2013-10-04. |

| 13V544000 | 2015-10-30. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:LABELS. General Motors (GM) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Chevrolet Silverado HD, Chevrolet Express, and GMC Sierra HD vehicles, and model year 2013 GMC Savana compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles that fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 303 "Fuel System Integrity of Compressed Natural Gas Vehicles." In the affected vehicles, the text of the CNG fuel-only label is smaller than the required size, and as a result, may be less noticeable. Built 2012-08-09 to 2013-06-12. |
| 13V615000 | 2013-12-11. FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD vehicles, equipped with 6.6L diesel engines and dual fuel tanks. In the affected vehicles, the transfer pump which moves fuel from the rear tank to the front tank could malfunction and cause the fuel gauge to indicate an inaccurate reading. Built 2012-07-09 to 2013-05-31. |
| 13V001000 | 2013-01-02. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION; STEERING:COLUMN LOCKING:ANTI-THEFT DEVICE. General Motors (GM) is recalling certain model year 2013 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, and Escalade EXT; Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado HD, Silverado LD, Suburban, and Tahoe; and GMC Savana, Sierra HD, Sierra LD, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles, manufactured between November 7, 2012, through December 18, 2012, for failing to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 102, "Transmission Shift Lever Sequence, Starter Interlock, and Transmission Braking Effect", and FMVSS No. 114, "Theft Protection and Rollaway Prevention." The vehicles may have been built with a fractured park lock cable or a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly. Built 2012-11-08 to 2012-12-18. |
| 2021028 | 2021-02-05. Airbag. Issue: On certain vehicles, long-term exposure to high absolute humidity and temperature, combined with high temperature cycling, may eventually degrade the propellant contained in the passenger-front airbag. This could cause the airbag to deploy with more force than normal. If the airbag inflator ruptures, fragments could be propelled toward vehicle occupants or cause damage to the airbag assembly, preventing its proper function. Safety Risk: If the vehicle is involved in a crash requiring an airbag deployment, the airbag inflator could rupture and create a risk of injury. Corrective Action: General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the passenger-front airbag. Note: The Canadian climate results in the propellant degrading slowly. This recall is being conducted as a precaution to address future risk. It is expected that all airbag inflators will be replaced before their function would be affected. |

| 2021027 | 2021-02-05. Airbag. Issue: Long-term exposure to high absolute humidity and temperature, combined with high temperature cycling, may eventually degrade the propellant contained in the passenger-front airbag. This could cause the airbag to deploy with more force than normal. If the airbag inflator ruptures, fragments could be propelled toward vehicle occupants or cause damage to the airbag assembly, preventing its proper function. Note: For the 2010 and 2013 models listed, this recall only affects vehicles that were imported into Canada, and were originally sold or ever registered in certain areas of the United States that experience high or moderate levels of heat and humidity. |
| 2017511 | 2017-10-20. Fuel System. On certain vehicles equipped with gasoline engines and dual fuel tanks, the fuel level sensor in the front tank could become stuck in the low level position, causing the rear tank to overfill the front tank. If this occurs, the front tank could expand and come in contact with the moving drive shaft which, over time, could create a hole in the front tank and cause a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the rear tank fuel pump module or flash the vehicle software. Dealers will also inspect the front tank for damage and replace it as necessary. |
| 2013438 | 2013-12-13. Fuel System. On certain pickup trucks equipped with a 6.6L diesel engine and dual fuel tanks, the fuel tank transfer pump may malfunction, stopping the transfer of fuel from the rear tank to the front tank. This could cause the fuel gauge to display an inaccurate reading, and cause the front tank to become empty while fuel remains in the rear tank. This could result in engine stalling which, in conjunction with traffic, road conditions, and driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel transfer pump. |
| 2013001 | 2012-12-31. Other. Certain vehicles fail to conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 102 - Transmission Control Functions, and CMVSS 114 - Theft Protection and Rollaway Prevention. A fractured park lock cable, or a defective steering lock module, may have been installed during vehicle assembly. This could allow the driver to shift out of PARK with the key in the OFF position or removed from the ignition. As well, the transmission may be shifted out of PARK without first depressing the brake pedal. The key may also be rotated to the OFF position and removed while the shifter is not in PARK. These issues could result in unintended vehicle movement, which could cause a crash resulting in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the steering column assembly. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
