Service bulletins for the 2025 Genesis GV80

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

21-BD-001G2024-04-11. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. Genesis applies a Paint Protection Film (PPF) on new vehicles before delivery to dealerships. It provides a barrier between the paint and contaminants, such as rail dust, acid rain, and industrial fallout. In rare cases, the paint can become clouded under the PPF. These spots are the result of moisture trapped between the PPF and the paint.
21-AT-015G2024-04-11. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. This TSB provides a procedure to diagnose and repair a transmission for the following Incorrect Ratio DTC (transmission clutch slipping more than 200 rpm in gear).
21-AT-012G2024-04-11. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION; POWER TRAIN. This bulletin provides a procedure to transfer oil pressure data to the TCU using GDS Mobile. This procedure is necessary to reduce the TCU learning time and improve the shift quality. • Before replacing an automatic transmission (Pages 2~3): Input the data from the new transmission into the TCU using the GDS. • Before replacing a TCU (Pages 4~6): Back up the oil pressure data from the old TCU into the GDS and then transfer the data to the new TCM.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
