Genesis has become aware that certain vehicles may have IEB modules with incorrectly configured On Board Diagnostic II (OBD II) fault detection signals. Follow the procedures in this bulletin to verify Connected Car Data Communication Unit (DCU) network connection and if needed, reset the DCU in Dealer Mode to resolve the connection.

Over-the-Air (OTA) option (available to vehicles with active subscription to Genesis Connected Services): This update can also be conducted via OTA. The guests can complete on their own if they have an active subscription to Genesis Connected Services. A visit to the retailer is not required. Deployment of this OTA to guests with Connected Services is planned starting the week of 03/03/25.

This occurs when a communication error causes the touch-module control IC and MCU to repeatedly reinitialize, preventing the system from entering sleep mode.

This occurs when a communication error causes the touch-module control IC and MCU to repeatedly reinitialize, preventing the system from entering sleep mode. This bulletin provides instructions to perform a software update for the CCP.

The California Air Resources Board has determined that certain 2025 model year Genesis GV80 and 2025 model year Genesis GV80 Coupe vehicles may be releasing air pollutants which exceed Federal and California standards. Genesis has become aware that some vehicles may NOT experience a warning lamp illumination related to the fuel level sensor circuit. Your Genesis retailer is conducting a service campaign to update the Engine Control Module (ECM) to improve the Fuel Level Sensor Logic.
25-01-026G TSB2025-06-03. Service campaign. FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. Certain 2025MY GV80 and GV80 Coupe (JX1) vehicles equipped with the 3.5T-GDI Lambda III engine may NOT experience a warning lamp illumination of DTC P0461/P2066 when the calculated fuel consumption and the fuel consumption calculated from the fuel level sensor signal is over its threshold value. Follow the service procedure outlined in this bulletin to update the engine control module to revise the fuel level sensor warning light logic.

Certain 2025MY G80 (RG3) and GV80 (JX1) vehicles may experience difficulty with locking/unlocking the doors using the outer door handle touch sensor. This bulletin provides instructions to apply double-sided tape to the touch sensors to improve detection when moisture is present.

Certain GV80 (JX1) vehicles may have a condition where the vehicle may display warning lights due to a temporary voltage drop causing the Steering Wheel Remote Control (SWRC) to be inoperable. Follow the instructions in this TSB to update the software.
24-01-062G2024-08-07. Service campaign. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Certain GV80 (JX1) vehicles may experience battery drain while the ignition is OFF. This bulletin provides instructions to update the Central Communication Unit (CCU) via GDS/Ethernet to improve the logic of the CCU to correct this issue.
