| 2007230 | 2007-07-11. Suspension. On certain trucks, the flange, crossmember, and web mounting surfaces of the center suspension mounting bracket casting may not be perpendicular. An out of square casting may have unacceptable stresses in the bracket when it is installed and may cause it to crack in service. The driveline may not be held in position if a cracked bracket fractures completely. This will affect vehicle control and may cause a crash without warning. Correction: Dealers will replace casting out of specs. |

| 2006301 | 2006-11-08. Suspension. On certain trucks, the front spindle nut may have been over-tightened during vehicle assembly, causing preload on the front wheel bearings which may lead to premature bearing wear. If rapid bearing wear is allowed to progress, the front wheel assembly may separate from the vehicle and cause a crash. Correction: Dealers will verify bearing adjustment and, if found to be incorrect, will replace the bearings. |
