2011-11-21. Other. On certain vehicles equipped with an MBE4000 (EPA07) engine, the intake air grid heater may short circuit and fail. This could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install an additional external relay to prevent battery connection to the grid heater when the vehicle is not running and when grid heater control signal is absent.

2011-09-19. Other. On certain vehicles, specific operating conditions (such as tight, successive, highly banked curves in opposite directions), could trigger unintended Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system intervention. As a result, the ESC may unnecessarily apply one of the front brakes in order to correct the perceived oversteer condition. This may cause the vehicle to deviate from the intended path, thereby increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the ESC module.
2007-11-07. Other. On certain trucks, the fifth wheel hitch assembly's lever arm may have been incorrectly installed during the manufacturing process. The lever arm pivot bolt may have been over-tightened which could distort the pivot bolt spacer sleeve and prevent the fifth wheel latch jaw from closing and latching securely around the trailer king pin. This could allow the towed unit to separate from the towing vehicle while underway, potentially causing a crash with injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the pivot bolt and sleeve with a hex head shoulder bolt and washer.
2007-05-31. Other. On certain trucks, the rear drive axle housing was manufactured with steel below the specified thickness, which could result in fatigue failure over time. If failure occurs, the outboard end of the housing could eventually separate, allowing the hub, axle shaft, and/or wheel and brake assembly to separate from the vehicle. This could cause a vehicle crash with injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the axle assembly.
2006-10-17. Other. On certain trucks, an improperly seated or missing u-joint snap ring for the inter-axle driveshaft assembly could allow a bearing cup to separate. The u-joint cross could then contact the slip yoke casting and eventually cause the ear work to fracture. This could result in additional damage to the driveline, the vehicle to which it is attached and any additional nearby objects. Correction: Dealers will replace drivelines with missing or incorrectly installed snap rings.
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
