Service bulletins for the 2015 Freightliner Cascadia

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

837 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

Bulletins, newest first
SB54-3272020-04-17. Service bulletin. BACK OVER PREVENTION; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Service Bulletin for Lengthening the Backup Light Harness. Though the backup light harness is long enough to connect to the backup light switch, it may be short enough that the wire seals in the connector can be stressed. Moisture entering through the seals can cause corrosion, resulting in a bad connection and/or failure of the switch. As a result, backup lights and, if equipped, the backup alarm, may not function when the vehicle is shifted into reverse.
SB32-0332020-03-31. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. Freightliner Service Bulletin for Front Axle Spacer Replacement. This service bulletin replaces the version dated 05/01/2016. This bulletin is updated to include the parts list. Some vehicles may exhibit a lean (right or left) due to weight difference on the front suspension. While this does not affect the operation of the vehicle, it may be visually unpleasing to many customers. To correct this condition, replace the existing front axle spacer on the low side of the vehicle with a thicker one.

Some Cascadia day cabs with FE13 roof fairings may be more susceptible to water intrusion into the cab at the top of the cab door due to the way the air flows around the FE13 fairing.
