Service bulletins for the 2016 Ford Transit
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.
233 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

| TSB 19-2061 | 2019-04-02. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ENGINE. Some 2015-2019 Transit vehicles equipped with a 3.2L diesel engine may exhibit Drive To Clean maintenance messages and/or an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P2459, P2463, and/or P246C. Vehicles may also exhibit frequent automatic exhaust regeneration attempts. This may be due to vehicles being used in stationary or off-highway, low speed applications. If automatic regeneration attempts are unsuccessful, these symptoms may be a result of soot accumulation in the diesel particulate filter (DPF). These vehicles may benefit from operator commanded regeneration (OCR) capability so complete regeneration cycles may be performed in a stationary setting.
