| 2019225 | 2019-05-15. Powertrain. Issue: On certain trucks, the transmission shift cable bracket may detach. This could cause the transmission not to shift gears when the shifter is moved. As a result, the transmission could be in a different gear than the gear shifter indicates. If a driver attempts to exit the truck while the transmission is not in Park, and the parking brake is not applied, the truck could move suddenly. Safety Risk: Sudden and unexpected movement of the truck could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their truck to a dealer to inspect the transmission shift cable bracket bolts. The bolts will be tightened as necessary and the technician will ensure the shifter operates properly. |

| 2019047 | 2019-02-04. Powertrain. Issue: On certain trucks, the transmission shifter may not lock in the park position. This can allow the shifter to be moved without an ignition key and without depressing the brake pedal. This could result in unintended vehicle movement. Safety Risk: Unintended vehicle movement could increase the risk of injury and/or a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their truck to a Ford or Lincoln dealer to check if the shifter is working properly. If a problem is found, the shifter will be repaired. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
