Service bulletins for the 2018 Ford Mustang

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

TSB18-21602018-07-23. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:TORQUE CONVERTER. Some 2017-2018 F-150/Raptor, 2018 Expedition/Mustang/Navigator vehicles equipped with a 10R80 automatic transmission and built on or before 20-Nov-2017 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0741 and P1744 in the powertrain control module (PCM) or transmission control module (TCM). This may be due to a sticking torque converter clutch (TCC) valve in the main control valve body assembly. Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
