Service bulletins for the 2017 Ford Mustang
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.
155 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

| SSM 47433 | 2018-09-10. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:MANIFOLD/HEADER/MUFFLER/TAIL PIPE; EQUIPMENT. Some 2015-2017 Mustang vehicles equipped with a 5.0L engine may exhibit an illuminated MIL with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0300 through P0308 present. A noticeable misfire may or may not accompany these DTCs. If normal diagnostics do not lead to a root cause for this concern, remove the intake manifold from the vehicle and verify the intake manifold runner control (IMRC) plates move when the IMRC actuators are moved by hand. These plates are visible through the outlet ports of the intake manifold. If the IMRC plates do not move when the IMRC actuators are moved by hand, the intake manifold should be replaced. For claiming, use causal part 9424 and applicable labor operations in Section 9 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. |
