Service bulletins for the 2017 Ford Mustang
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.
155 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

| SSM 47225 | 2018-05-21. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. Some 2015-2018 Mustang vehicles equipped with SYNC 3 may exhibit inoperative USB ports with the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1252:13 stored in the accessory protocol interface module (APIM.) This may be due to a loose connection or damage present on the cable which connects the APIM to the media hub. Follow normal Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnosis to correct this condition, while paying close attention to any damage or loose connections which may be present on this cable. |
