Service bulletins for the 2020 Ford F-650
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 50636 | 2022-03-29. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE:SOFTWARE; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; EQUIPMENT. 2011-2022 F-Super Duty and 2016-2023 F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an elevated idle condition. During prolonged idle time, vehicles may experience this elevated idle to reduce unburned hydrocarbons from the SCR. The powertrain control module estimates hydrocarbon levels in the SCR and may increase idle speed to remove them. Idle speed will be increased to 1000 RPM for ambient temperatures near 26°C (80°F) and may increase to 1200 RPM at -40 °C (-40°F). Vehicles may exhibit exhaust smoke and diesel exhaust fluid smell during elevated idle condition. Exhaust smoke and smell condition will not affect reliability or durability of the engine. Power take-off (PTO) use and idle set point control will disable elevated speed. It is required that the operator monitor the vehicle and adhere to any Exhaust Filter warning messages. |

| TSB 20-2336 | 2020-10-02. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some 2020 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine built on or before 19-Aug-2020 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P0300-P0308, P0603, P203B, P208B, P208C, P2201, P24C2, P27B4, P07F6 and/or P27B5 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). The vehicle may also exhibit a forced idle condition. This may be due to various strategies within the PCM software. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the PCM. |
| SSM 48958 | 2020-07-08. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Some 2020 Super Duty vehicles equipped with an 10R140 automatic transmission may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) and/or wrench light with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0715, P0716, P0717, P0718, P07BF and/or P07C0 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). If any of these DTCs are set, focus diagnostics on the turbine shaft speed sensor (TSS) and/or TSS circuits. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-01. Replacement of the ISSA or ISSB sensor will not correct this condition. |
