Some 2023-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles built on or before 22-Jul-2024 and equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P203B, P206B, and/or P2201:92 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to the software in the PCM. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the PCM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. |
| TSB 24-2142 | 2024-06-12. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. This article supersedes TSB 23-2376 to update the Part List and the Service Procedure. Some 2022-2024 F-550 and F-600 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 10R140 automatic transmission and 6.7L diesel engine may exhibit an illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P2704 and P0771 stored in the transmission control module (TCM) with poor shift quality and over 5,000 miles (8,000 km) in service. This may be due to wear between the input shaft and the E clutch hub causing the input shaft O-rings to become damaged resulting in an open E clutch circuit. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the E clutch hub and input shaft O-rings. |
| SSM 52595 | 2024-06-10. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. When replacing the E clutch hub (7P211) on 2020-2024 F-Super Duty and 2024-2025 F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with a 10R140 transmission, a new washer (7482) has been added and must be installed with the new updated E clutch hub. Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-01B for proper installation of the washer. Refer to the parts catalog for the appropriate part numbers for the E clutch hub and the washer. |

This does not indicate any previous repairs as it is used by Dana during assembly. |
| SSM 52548 | 2024-05-23. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Various vehicles equiped with 10R80/10R80 MHT/10R100/10R140 transmissions may require replacement of the seal kits (7153) when internal repairs are being performed. These kits come with 4 wheel drive (4WD) seals and will no longer include the 2WD seals. When working on a 2WD vehicle, any 2WD seals must be ordered separately. Refer to the parts catalog for the proper 2WD seals required. |
| SSM 52423 | 2024-04-25. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Some 2024 F-Super Duty non-Tremor vehicles equipped with four-wheel drive (4WD) may exhibit a slight rotational grinding noise from the front axle while driving in two-wheel drive (2WD). If the noise does not occur with the vehicle driven in 4WD, this may be due to the non-selectable right side hublock on the front axle. To correct the condition, replace the right front hublock with a selectable hublock, service part number PC3Z-3B396-A. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-07A. Vacuum lines with service base part numbers 3C125 and/or 3C124 may need to be installed if not present on the vehicle. Refer to the parts catalog. Suspension modifications may contribute to the concern. Inspect the vehicle for aftermarket levelling or lift kits as well as aftermarket caster/camber adjusting sleeves. If any vehicle modifications are present, this is not a warrantable repair. Do not submit a claim. Use the Report a Vehicle Concern link at the bottom of the OASIS report to submit a report detailing the presence or lack of aftermarket equipment with photos attached to the report. Reference this article by number in the text of the report. |
| SSM 52389 | 2024-04-04. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM); POWER TRAIN:MANUAL TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Some 2022-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with only diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U3012 stored in the PCM. If no drivability concerns or other DTCs are present, perform normal diagnostics per the Workshop Manual (WSM). If diagnostics lead to the powertrain control module (PCM) or body control module (BCM), the replacement of the PCM and/or the BCM will not resolve this concern. This illuminated MIL with DTC U3012 does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. |
| TSB 24-2066 | 2024-04-03. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. This TSB supersedes article 24-2036 to update the vehicles affected. Some 2023-2024 F-Super Duty pickup vehicles built on or before 02-Jan-2024 equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated MIL with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P0133, P0139, and/or P0145 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to the software in the PCM and does not affect vehicle operation. |
| SSM 52314 | 2024-03-20. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. During service and repair requiring removal and replacement of a crankshaft bolt and/or crankshaft damper, achieving proper torque of the crankshaft pulley bolt is critical. Incorrect torque may allow the bolt to loosen resulting in the timing gear breaking and engine damage. Replacement of the bolt is critical to the repair and accurately following the installation procedure in the Workshop Manual (WSM) Section, 303-01 is extremely important. The bolt torque procedure can be found in the crankshaft front seal removal and installation procedure or in the engine assembly procedure. |
