Service bulletins for the 2014 Ford F-550
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.
160 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

| SSM 47402 | 2018-09-10. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL; EQUIPMENT. When performing diagnostics for DTCs P2201, P2452, P2459, P246C and/or P2463, a manual regeneration and diesel particulate filter (DPF) parameter reset using the appropriate scan tool may need to be performed. To perform the manual regeneration, go to the Toolbox tab > Powertrain > Service Functions > Diesel Particulate Regeneration System > DPF Manual Regeneration. The scan tool may indicate that a regeneration of the DPF is not recommended at this time, selecting YES on this screen will allow the regeneration process to complete. To perform the DPF parameter reset, go to the Toolbox tab > Powertrain > Service Functions > Diesel Particulate Regeneration System > DPF Parameter Reset. |

| TSB16-0098 | 2017-02-10. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ENGINE. SOME 2011-2016 F-SUPER DUTY VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A 6.7L DIESEL ENGINE THAT ARE PRIMARILY IN A STATIONARY OR OFF-HIGHWAY LOW SPEED USE MAY EXHIBIT FREQUENT EXHAUST REGENERATION ATTEMPTS, DRIVE TO CLEAN MAINTENANCE MESSAGES, THE WRENCH LIGHT ON AND/OR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) P2459 FOR FREQUENT REGENERATION. IF REGENERATION ATTEMPTS ARE UNSUCCESSFUL, DTC P2463 MAY SET AS A RESULT OF SOOT ACCUMULATION IN THE DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER (DPF). VEHICLES OPERATED IN THIS MANNER MAY NOT EASILY ALLOW FOR NORMAL EXHAUST REGENERATION AND MAY BENEFIT FROM OCR CAPABILITY SO THE UNIT CAN PERFORM COMPLETE REGENERATION CYCLES IN A STATIONARY SETTING. FOLLOW THE SERVICE PROCEDURE STEPS TO CORRECT THE CONDITION. |
