Service bulletins for the 2026 Ford F-450
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 54592 | 2026-02-27. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. For 20172026 vehicles equipped with a 10R transmission, a revision to the Road Testing Vehicle procedure has been made in the WSM, located in Section 307-01 > Diagnosis and Testing. This updated procedure improves the diagnosis of customer reported transmission concerns and aids in locating the proper root cause. During diagnosis and testing, details regarding whether the condition is more prevalent when the vehicle is hot or cold, throttle percentage at the time of occurrence, vehicle speed, the specific shift involved, and whether the issue occurs during transmission engagements (N>R, N>D, R>D, or D>R) should be noted. Engineering requests including these detailed operating conditions that will significantly assist with root cause analysis. Diagnosis, testing, and repair should use established labor times outside this article. |

Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with wired keyless entry keypad systems and accessory wireless keyless entry keypad systems may or may not come with a wallet card containing the master code. Unlike the integrated wired keypad, the accessory wireless keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool or from the label printed on the body control module (BCM). The Factory Keyless Entry Code application within the diagnostic scan tool will not provide an applicable master code for the accessory wireless keypad. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is not available, the "Wireless RF Keypad Diagnosis Guide" can be referenced and provides direction on how to retrieve the master code. This guide is located under the Workshop Manual tab > Accessories > Installation > Wireless RF Keypad Diagnosis Guide > PPT C > Step C2.<br /><br /> Note: The only available keypad for some vehicles from the assembly plant is the accessory wireless keyless entry keypad. Some 2023-2026 F-Super Duty vehicles that require replacement of the heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) module may have previously experienced a PMI that will not complete during installation. This may be due to a concern with the PMI application within the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. To correct this condition, navigate to the FDRS application HVAC Programmable Module Installation (PMI). Click on the download button (if not already downloaded) or the refresh button on the right side of the application (if the application is already downloaded). Hover your mouse over the application name and verify the application version reads G2327867-5.0 or higher. Once the application is confirmed to be updated, run the HVAC PMI application. |
| SSM 54559 | 2026-02-12. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Some 2026 F-Super Duty and F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with a 10R140 automatic transmission may exhibit fluid leakage from the transmission fluid pan area. Prior to performing any repairs, thoroughly clean the transmission fluid pan area to ensure accurate identification of the leak source. Before replacing the transmission fluid pan or gasket, verify the torque of the fluid pan bolts and stud bolts. If the torque is incorrect, tighten the pan bolts and stud bolts to the specified torque following the proper torque sequence in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-01. After tightening, verify that the leak has been repaired. If the pan bolts and stud bolts are already torqued correctly, proceed with standard leak diagnosis. Should the diagnosis indicate that pan replacement is required, mark the area of the pan where the leak is present. This information will assist engineering with root cause analysis. For claiming, use causal part 7A194 and labor operation 7000E. |
| SSM 54546 | 2026-02-12. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY. Some 2023-2026 F-Super Duty and 2024-2026 F-150 vehicles were not produced with a factory wired keyless entry keypad.
