Service bulletin SSM 54546
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Some 2023-2026 F-Super Duty and 2024-2026 F-150 vehicles were not produced with a factory wired keyless entry keypad. If the customer desires to install a Ford Accessory wireless keyless entry keypad, the radio transceiver module (RTM) in these vehicles operates on a different frequency than previous models. The correct part number for the keyless entry keypad is SK4Z-14A626-A. A wired keyless entry keypad cannot be added to a 2025-2026 F-Super Duty/F-150 vehicle that was not originally produced with it. Refer to Professional Technician System (PTS) > Workshop > Accessories > Installation > Electrical for further instruction.

A recall listed here may apply to some of the same vehicles. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle.
| SSM 55239 | 2026-10-13. Service bulletin. Some 2023-2026 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a trailer brake control module and built on or before 08-May-2026 may exhibit a "Trailer Disconnected" message after cycling the ignition off and back on with a trailer connected. This may be due to the presence of an integrated battery charger on a trailer equipped with electric over hydraulic brakes. If trailer functionality is restored after unplugging and plugging the trailer connector back in while the ignition is on, this condition can be corrected by downloading and performing the "Trailer Brake Configuration" application using the latest software version of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 19H332 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4. Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 417-01 Exterior Lighting > Diagnosis and Testing > Trailer Lamps > Pinpoint Test G The Message Center Displays A False Trailer Disconnected Message When A Trailer Is Connected To The Vehicle - Only For Electric Over Hydraulic (EOH) Equipped Trailers When Vehicle Trailer Brake Type Setting Is Set To Electric Over Hydraulic has bee |

Issue: Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit all of the following conditions: • Poor shift quality • Illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with DTCs P2704 and P0771 stored in the PCM / TCM . This may be due to a calibration in the TCM and/or wear between the input shaft and the E clutch hub causing theinput shaft O-rings to become damaged resulting in an open E clutch circuit. | TSB 26-2092 V2 | 2026-10-01. Service bulletin. This article supersedes TSB 25-2466 to add Bronco Sport, Escape, Maverick and Corsair, as well as removing Expedition and Navigator. One time use parts for Corsair and Bronco Sport were also added to the parts list. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a headliner rattle or sagging condition around the roof opening panel. This may be due to the adhesive separating from the headliner substrate. |
| SSM 55208 | 2026-09-30. Service bulletin. Some 2024-2026 F-150, 2025 Explorer/Aviator, 2025-2026 Expedition/Navigator, or 2026 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U211B:43:48 stored in the body control module (BCM) when performing a Self-Test. This DTC sets due to an internal BCM timing issue during the self-test process. This specific code has no customer impact and does not cause any drivability concerns or warning messages. Clearing DTC U211B:43:48, reprogramming the BCM, or replacing the BCM is unlikely to prevent this DTC from setting. This DTC does not trigger a condition covered under warranty. Note: This guidance only applies to U211B with the specific failure byte 43 in status 48. Any other trusted real-time operation network (TRON) DTCs or different failure bytes associated with U211B are still applicable and technicians must follow Workshop Manual (WSM) normal diagnostics for those DTCs. |
| SSM 55194 | 2026-09-30. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2024 Mustang Mach-E, 2025-2026 Navigator and 2024 F-150 vehicles may exhibit inoperative welcome/approach detection lights. This may be due to the body control module (BCM) software. To correct the condition, download and run the "BCM - Programmable Module Installation (PMI)" application using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. If the condition persists after PMI, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 417-01 for normal diagnostics and repair as necessary outside of this article. For claiming, use causal part 15604 and labor operations 12651D and BCM. |
