A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 47209 | 2018-05-21. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE. Some 2017-2018 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.2L or 6.8L gas engine may exhibit multiple warning indicators in the instrument panel cluster and/or inoperative radio during snow plow use. Battery state of charge is important to verify prior to any repairs. 12.72v to 12.8v is a fully charged battery. To assist with the investigation use the Report a Vehicle Concern link at the bottom of the OASIS report and include the following information: What brand of plow the vehicle is equipped with, If it's been equipped by the plow manufacturer's specifications, If other equipment is up-fitted on the vehicle, ambient temperature when the concern occurs, Engine RPM and MPH/KPH, and battery state of charge. Note the concern should be duplicated similar to customer use and ambient temperature. |

| SSM 46324 | 2017-03-15. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. SOME 2017 F-SUPER DUTY CHASSIS CAB AND FACTORY PICKUP BOX DELETE VEHICLES BUILT ON OR BEFORE 27-SEP-2016 MAY EXHIBIT AN INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR FLASHING FAST WITH NO INOPERATIVE TURN SIGNAL LAMPS. THIS MAY BE DUE TO THE BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) NOT RECOGNIZING MODIFIED TURN SIGNAL LIGHTING WHICH DRAWS LOWER CURRENT. TO CORRECT THIS CONCERN, USE INTEGRATED DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM (IDS) SERVICE TOOL VERSION 103.03 OR LATER TO CONFIGURE TURN LAMP OUTAGE SETTINGS AS REQUIRED. THESE SETTINGS CAN BE FOUND UNDER TOOLBOX > MODULE PROGRAMMING > PROGRAMMABLE PARAMETERS > EXTERIOR LIGHTING. VEHICLES BUILT AFTER 27-SEP-2016 HAVE THIS FUNCTION AVAILABLE BUT ARE SET TO OUTAGE MODE DURING PRODUCTION. USE CAUSAL PART 15604 AND APPLICABLE LABOR OPERATIONS IN SECTION 10 OF THE SERVICE LABOR TIME STANDARDS (SLTS) MANUAL. |
