Service bulletins for the 2026 Ford F-350

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM 547632026-04-28. Service bulletin. STEERING. Some 2025-2026 F-Super Duty vehicles built without lane departure warning (built with minor feature code HLEAA) and 2025-2026 Expedition/Navigator vehicles built on or before 26-Mar-2026 may exhibit a clicking or creaking type noise when turning the steering wheel during low-speed maneuvers. To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner in the Professional Technician System (PTS). If a vehicle exhibits this condition, use a chassis ears tool and place the microphone clamp on or near the universal joint yoke of the steering column upper shaft (below the column). Turn the steering wheel with the vehicle stationary to replicate the concern. If the same noise is clearly heard through the chassis ears at this location, replace the steering column upper shaft (base part number 3E751). Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 211-04. For claiming, use causal part 3E751 and service labor operations 3676AUP and 1006D.
SSM 545942026-02-27. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY/WIPER; STEERING. Some 2023-2026 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit rain sensitive wipers (if equipped) settings that do not change when selected in the center touch screen. Vehicles may also exhibit an inoperative heated steering wheel (if equipped) after a remote start event. This may be due to the software in the steering column control module (SCCM). To correct the condition, reprogram the SCCM using the latest software version of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 3F791 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4.
SSM 545872026-02-20. Service bulletin. STEERING; VISIBILITY/WIPER. For claiming, use causal part 3F791 and labor operation 12651D.
SSM 543112025-10-28. Service bulletin. STEERING; POWER TRAIN. 2023-2026 F-Super Duty vehicles may be equipped from the factory with a power steering system filled with Motorcraft® MERCON® LV Automatic Transmission Fluid XT-10-QLVC or XL-22 high temperature power steering fluid that looks like clear hydraulic fluid. Both fluids are interchangeable in the power steering system when service is required. Workshop Manual, Section 211-02 > Power Steering > Specifications has been updated to provide the correct power steering fluid usage.
SSM 541802025-09-02. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STEERING. Some 2026 F-Super Duty vehicles may require retrieval of the factory keycode for factory installed wired keyless entry keypads. If Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool retrieval is not available, the code can be retrieved using 2 programmed keys. Perform the following steps within 10 seconds. Place the first programmed key into the ignition lock cylinder or backup starting location and turn the ignition on. Turn the ignition off and remove the first programmed key. Place the second programmed key into the ignition lock cylinder or backup location and turn the ignition on. The factory keycode displays momentarily in the instrument panel cluster message center. Do not submit a warranty claim for this procedure. This procedure is in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-14 > Description and Operation.
