Service bulletins for the 2023 Ford F-250

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

287 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

SSM 540522025-07-24. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STEERING. Some 2023-2025 F-Super Duty vehicles may display an error during replacement of the SCCM that contains the following message: "Reprogramming has failed, would you like to retry?". If this error is present, the SCCM will not complete PMI and may store diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) U2100 and/or U2101 in the SCCM. This may be due to a concern with the compatibility of the software with a hardware change in the SCCM. To correct the condition, download and run the "SCCM - Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) Configuration" application in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). Inform customers that although the PMI is incomplete, there is no affect on vehicle performance. Customers can continue to drive the vehicle. To make sure the vehicle correctly receives the latest SCCM software, engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in late Q3 2025. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the software becomes available.
SSM 535692025-04-09. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2021-2025 Ford and Lincoln vehicles may exhibit diagnostic trouble code (DTCs) U2100 and/or U3002 stored in the cruise control module (CCM), side obstacle detection control module LH (SODL), side obstacle detection control module RH (SODR), side obstacle detection control module C (SODCMC) and/or side obstacle detection control module D (SODCMD) after a module replacement.
SSM 530182024-10-08. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2021-2024 Ford and Lincoln vehicles may exhibit diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) U2100 and/or U3002 stored in the cruise control module (CCM), side obstacle detection control module LH (SODL), side obstacle detection control module RH (SODR), side obstacle detection control module C (SODCMC) and/or side obstacle detection control module D (SODCMD) after a module replacement.
SSM 519032023-10-04. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2021-2023 Ford and Lincoln vehicles may exhibit DTCs U2100 and/or U3002 stored in the cruise control module (CCM), side obstacle detection control module LH (SODL), side obstacle detection control module RH (SODR), side obstacle detection control module C (SODCMC) and/or side obstacle detection control module D (SODCMD) after a module replacement. DTC U2100 may set when the module has not been properly configured after replacement. DTC U3002 may set when the module has been configured with the incorrect VIN. To correct this condition, verify that the module storing the DTC has been installed following the applicable Workshop Manual (WSM) Removal and Installation procedure. If the DTC is still stored, download and run the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Write application found under Toolbox, Multi-Module tab in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS).
SSM 516752023-06-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:BODY CONTROL MODULE/BCM. Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 may experience programming errors after a replacement of the body control module (BCM) for various concerns. After programmable module installation (PMI) of the new BCM, diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) U2100:00, U2101:00 and/or U211B:87 may be present. Download and run the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) application titled Trusted Real-Time Operation Network (TRON) Module Authentication, and perform the TRON Diagnosis and Repair and Reset ECU on CAN BUS routines. Once both TRON routines have been completed, re-run the BCM PMI application. Verify that all BCM DTCs have cleared. Service procedures are being updated to improve this process. Monitor OASIS for updates.
