Service bulletins for the 2025 Ford F-150
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 54719 | 2026-04-10. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. For 20212026 vehicles equipped with the 10R80 transmission, a new Transmission Clutch Circuit Leak Test has been introduced in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). This test utilizes the pressure and vacuum transducer (PVT) when available. When referred to a specific clutch (A-F) test by a pinpoint test in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-01 > Diagnosis and Testing, the Clutch Assembly tests have been updated with a hyperlink to the new Transmission Line Pressure Test - Pressure Vacuum Transducer (PVT) Is Available procedure in WSM, Section 307-01 > General Procedures. This procedure provides instructions to perform the FDRS Transmission Clutch Circuit Leak Test when applicable. The new test improves the accuracy of detecting leaks within transmission fluid circuits and replaces the previous air check method. The previous air check procedure has been shown to produce a high rate of false positives, which may lead to unnecessary repairs when no actual leak is present. Accordingly, the air check procedure is not to be used for diagnosing internal transmission hydraulic leaks or as justification |
| SSM 54714 | 2026-04-10. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Some 2021-2026 F-150 PowerBoost vehicles may exhibit an illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P2884, P2885 and/or P2886 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-01 > Automatic Transmission - 10 Speed Automatic Transmission - 10R80 MHT > Diagnosis and Testing > DTC Chart and Pinpoint Tests - 3.5L V6 PowerBoost (CN) > Pinpoint Test J: Engine Disconnect Clutch has been updated to address this condition. |
| SSM 54674 | 2026-04-06. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. For 2021-2026 vehicles equipped with the 10R80 transmission, a new Transmission Clutch Circuit Leak Test has been introduced in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). This may be due to the 4L switch being stuck on due to excess material on the lower center instrument panel trim panel keeping the switch depressed. To correct the condition, replace the lower center instrument panel trim panel. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 412-00 > Removal and Installation > Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Control Module for reference of all hidden fasteners. For claiming, use causal part 15042C74 and labor operation MT15042C74SSM up to 1.3 hours. |
| TSB 26-2066 | 2026-03-04. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. This article supersedes TSB 25-2579 Reason for update: remove "Lightning" from Labor Times Description Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above equipped with a console GSM may exhibit at least one of the following conditions: * Clicking sound coming from the gear shift lever after it is placed and kept in reverse, neutral or drive position. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit at least one of the following conditions: - No upshift past second gear - Unable to achieve third gear ratio - Illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with DTCs P0757 and P2701 This may be due to a damaged one-way clutch (OWC). |
| SSM 54593 | 2026-02-27. Service bulletin. ENGINE; POWER TRAIN; FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. Some 2024-2025 F-150, Expedition/Navigator, Escape/Corsair, Bronco, Explorer, Mustang, Maverick vehicles equipped with a 1.5/2.0/2.3/3.5L EcoBoost engine and built on 01-Oct-2024 and through 31-May-2025 may exhibit an extended crank condition, strong fuel smell in the engine oil, high engine oil level and/or may have various drivability diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) with an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL). This may be due to an internal fuel leak of the high-pressure fuel pump causing fuel to enter the crankcase and reduce fuel pressure in the direct injection fuel rail. Diagnose this condition using Pinpoint Test HP located in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-04. If no DTCs are stored in the PCM, proceed from Step HP1 to Step HP5 and continue testing. Repair as necessary outside of this article. For claiming, if high-pressure fuel pump replacement is required, use causal part number 9D376 and labor operation code 9543A. If the root cause is identified as anything other than the fuel injection pump, claim the repair outside of this article. |
| SSM 54592 | 2026-02-27. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. For 20172026 vehicles equipped with a 10R transmission, a revision to the Road Testing Vehicle procedure has been made in the WSM, located in Section 307-01 > Diagnosis and Testing. This updated procedure improves the diagnosis of customer reported transmission concerns and aids in locating the proper root cause. During diagnosis and testing, details regarding whether the condition is more prevalent when the vehicle is hot or cold, throttle percentage at the time of occurrence, vehicle speed, the specific shift involved, and whether the issue occurs during transmission engagements (N>R, N>D, R>D, or D>R) should be noted. Engineering requests including these detailed operating conditions that will significantly assist with root cause analysis. Diagnosis, testing, and repair should use established labor times outside this article. |

The remote keyless entry (RKE) functionality will work to lock/unlock the vehicle. |
| SSM 54521 | 2026-02-04. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2026 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 3.5L EcoBoost engine and 2025-2026 F-150 Raptor vehicles equipped with a 5.2L or 3.5L engine may exhibit a lack of power while in transport mode and up to 1 hour after exiting transport mode. This may be due to these vehicles having a feature to limit power and top speed in transport mode. This feature automatically disables after exiting transport mode, waiting 1 hour, then cycling the ignition status to key OFF for at least 10 seconds and then starting the vehicle. Top speed may be limited to as low as 40 mph (65 km/h) and maximum acceleration is reduced. This condition does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnostics or service is required for this condition. If this condition persists after exiting transport mode, waiting 1 hour and cycling the ignition, refer to the Workshop Manual for normal diagnostics. |
