Service bulletins for the 2025 Ford F-150

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM 543402025-11-04. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some 2022-2025 F-150 vehicles may exhibit a condition where the intrusion alarm will activate without an external source. This may be due to software in the body control module (BCM). Reprogramming or replacing the BCM may not resolve this condition. Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition and it will be released by the end of Q1 2026. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.

SSM 543172025-10-28. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. Some 2021-2025 F-150, 2022-2025 Expedition/Navigator, 2023-2025 F-Super Duty, 2024-2025 Ranger and 2026 Transit vehicles may exhibit a discharged battery and/or a no crank/no start condition. The vehicle may also exhibit a clicking noise from the trailer module (TRM) while the vehicle is off. This may be due to software in the TRM.<br /><br />Verify the TRM software part number in the vehicle using Ford diagnosis and repair system (FDRS) to be PC3T-19J297-BF, PC3T-19J297-FF, ML3T-19J297-CD or ML3T-19J297-GD. To confirm a vehicle is equipped with a certain software level, review the software information by hovering over the "Diagnostics" tab in Professional Technician System (PTS) and selecting "Vehicle Software". If one of the listed software part numbers is present, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the TRM. For vehicles with any other software part number in the TRM, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 414-01 to continue with normal diagnostics outside of this article. For claiming use causal part 19H332 and labor operation 12651D and 12651D4 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS)
SSM 543132025-10-28. Service bulletin. LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2020-2025 various Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with blind spot information system (BLIS) may experience an inoperative blind spot monitoring with a "Blind Spot System Fault" message displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). This may also be accompanied by diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) B118C:11 and/or B118C:15 stored in the driver door module (DDM), and/or B118D:11 and/or B118D:15 stored in the passenger door module (PDM). This may be due to the wiring connector from the mirror to the BLIS module. If diagnostics lead to an internal mirror wiring harness fault, a new lower level BLIS light pigtail is now released for service. It is not necessary to replace the exterior mirror assembly. Use part number SC3Z-14A411-B to resolve the concern.
IPC-25.15D F-1502025-10-17. Over-the-air update. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. 25S88 Recall remedy: -Instrument Panel Cluster update to prevent a potential black screen at start up
SSM 542842025-10-14. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2025 F-150 Tremor and Raptor vehicles may be equipped with auxiliary/upfitter switches that do not have rubber tips. Switches no longer equipped with rubber tips is an appearance only change and has no impact on function or performance. Repair or replacement for auxiliary/upfitter switches no longer equipped with rubber tips should not be performed and is not warrantable.
SSM 542502025-10-02. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2024-2025 Escape Hybrid/Maverick Hybrid/Nautilus Hybrid/F-150 non-Lightning/F-Super Duty/Bronco and 2025 Expedition/Navigator/Ranger vehicles where customers have installed an aftermarket supplemental braking system may experience a discharged 12-volt battery after recreational towing. This may be due to the supplemental braking system keeping the vehicle awake during brake applications. Advise customers that while recreational towing the vehicle with a supplemental braking system installed, it is recommended to use a 12-volt battery charger connected to a power source external to the vehicle being towed. The Owners Manual is in process of being updated with this information.
TSB 25-24482025-09-23. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY/WIPER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. This article supersedes TSB 25-2201 to update the vehicles affected. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above equipped with one-touch up/down front windows may exhibit a window not responding to one-touch controls, not opening all the way and/or bouncing back when using the one-touch close function. This may be due to a calibration parameter in the driver door module (DDM) and/or passenger door module (PDM).
SSM 542232025-09-23. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; VISIBILITY/WIPER. Some 2024-2025 F-150/F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit an inoperative front passenger window when operated from the driver master window control switch with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U2013:23 stored in the driver door module (DDM). This may be due to the software level of the DDM. To correct this condition, reprogram the DDM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 14B291 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4.
SSM 542162025-09-18. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2023-2025 F-150 vehicles may exhibit a crank/no start with multiple warning indicators and diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0100 stored in the audio front control module (ACM), gear shift module (GSM), image processing module A (IPMA), power steering control module (PSCM) and instrument panel cluster (IPC). This may be due to an incorrectly tightened ground 104 (G104). Inspect G104 for proper connection, locating tab insertion, and tighten to 8.9 lb-ft (12 Nm). If the condition remains after tightening G104, reference the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-06 outside of this article. For claiming, use causal part 12A581 and labor operations 12650D and 12650D45WR.
SSM 541152025-08-12. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY/WIPER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2023-2025 F-150 and F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with minor feature code B2DAC may exhibit an inoperative rear passenger window. To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by clicking "Additional Information" under Vehicle Information or double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner in the Professional Technician System (PTS). This may be due to an open diode in the window switch. To correct the condition, replace the window switch of the affected window. If the condition persists, continue with normal diagnostics outside of this article. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 501-11. For claiming, use causal part 14529 and labor operation 14529A of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
