Service bulletins for the 2024 Ford Expedition

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

SSM 521752024-01-18. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. Some 2024 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit lower than actual fuel level indication on the fuel gauge or inaccurate DTE displayed in the IPC after adding fuel to the vehicle. This may be due to the IPC software and can occur if the vehicle is shut off before placing the gear shift module (GSM) in park (p) and then partially filling the fuel tank. The fuel level indicator and DTE will self-recover after several hours if this condition occurs. Currently, a remedy for this concern is being developed and is expected by the end of the first quarter of 2024. Continue to monitor OASIS for updates.
