| 14V239000 | 2014-05-07. STRUCTURE:BODY:DOOR. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Escape vehicles manufactured October 5, 2011, through April 10, 2014. Due to an assembly misalignment between the exterior door handle and the door outer panel, the affected vehicles have doors that may be difficult to close or may possibly open while driving. Built 2011-10-05 to 2014-04-10. |

| 12V319000 | 2012-07-06. STRUCTURE; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:PEDALS AND LINKAGES. FORD IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2013 ESCAPE VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM MARCH 8, 2012 THROUGH JUNE 7, 2012. DUE TO MIS-POSITIONED CARPET PADDING THE CENTER CONSOLE TRIM PANEL MAY BE PUSHED OUTBOARD OF THE INTENDED POSITION, REDUCING CLEARANCE RELATIVE TO THE PEDAL PACKAGE. Built 2012-03-08 to 2012-06-07. |
| 2016432 | 2016-09-06. Structure. On certain vehicles, the pawl spring tab in the side door latch could break. This condition typically will prevent the door from latching. In certain situations where the door is able to be closed, the door may be partially latched and could unlatch while driving. This could increase the risk of injury to a vehicle occupant seated next to the door, or result in damage to property. Correction: If a door will not latch, dealers will replace all four door latches with a more robust part. Note: A door that is partially latched can cause the courtesy light to remain on, set a door ajar message in the instrument cluster and sound a door ajar chime to alert the driver that there is a door latch problem. |

| 2014163 | 2014-05-07. Structure. On certain vehicles, misalignment of the exterior door handle and door panel may cause the door handle to bind. If this occurs, the door may open while driving or may be difficult to close. A vehicle operated in this condition would present a higher risk of injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect all four exterior door handles and reposition as necessary. |
| 2013075 | 2013-03-06. Structure. On certain vehicles, the left rear door child lock may not engage when the operator uses normal turning force to activate the child lock, and the operator may incorrectly believe the child lock is engaged. Without the child lock engaged, the door can be opened using the inside door handle. This condition could potentially increase the risk of injury to an unrestrained child. Correction: Dealers will inspect the door latch and replace if necessary. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
