Service bulletins for the 2019 Ford Edge
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| TSB 26-2092 V2 | 2026-10-01. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. This article supersedes TSB 25-2466 to add Bronco Sport, Escape, Maverick and Corsair, as well as removing Expedition and Navigator. | SSM 54601 | 2026-02-27. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with wired keyless entry keypad systems and accessory wireless keyless entry keypad systems may or may not come with a wallet card containing the master code. Unlike the integrated wired keypad, the accessory wireless keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool or from the label printed on the body control module (BCM). The Factory Keyless Entry Code application within the diagnostic scan tool will not provide an applicable master code for the accessory wireless keypad. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is not available, the "Wireless RF Keypad Diagnosis Guide" can be referenced and provides direction on how to retrieve the master code. This guide is located under the Workshop Manual tab > Accessories > Installation > Wireless RF Keypad Diagnosis Guide > PPT C > Step C2.<br /><br /> Note: The only available keypad for some vehicles from the assembly plant is the accessory wireless keyless entry keypad. The integrated wired keypad cannot be installed on vehicles not equipped from the factory with a wired keyless entry k |
| TSB 25-2466 | 2025-10-09. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; STRUCTURE:BODY. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a headliner rattle or sagging condition around the roof opening panel. This may be due to the adhesive separating from the headliner substrate. |
| SSM 51536 | 2023-05-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. For 2000-2024 Ford and Lincoln vehicles, swapping a module from a vehicle for diagnosis purposes is likely to cause errors and is not recommended. It is also not recommended to order a replacement module using a vehicle identification number (VIN) from a different vehicle. Most modules on these affected vehicles are VIN/vehicle specific and hardware variations between modules do exist. Swapping a module from a vehicle or ordering a module using a different vehicle/VIN can cause ineffective repairs and additional vehicle down time. Make sure all appropriate Workshop Manual (WSM) procedures are followed when diagnosing the condition prior to all module replacements and only order modules using the correct VIN. |
| SSM 50394 | 2022-02-04. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Some 2019-2020 Edge/Nautilus vehicles built on or before 03-Dec-2020 may exhibit a power liftgate unable to unlatch from both switches after a second unlatch attempt with or without diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U3000:49 stored in the rear gate trunk module (RGTM). If the RGTM is at the latest software level and the condition is still present, refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM) Section 501-03 to perform normal diagnosis. |
| TSB 21-2322 | 2021-09-30. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. This article supersedes TSB 17-0065 to update the Service Procedure and vehicles affected. Some 2015-2019 Edge, 2016-2018 MKX, and 2019 Nautilus vehicles built on or before 05-Jun-2019 may exhibit a rattle or flutter noise from the underbody of the vehicle while moving. This may be due to the movement of loose underbody shield fasteners which are attached to the underbody shields. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to remove the assembly aid fasteners. |
| SSM 49931 | 2021-08-02. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY:BUMPERS. Some 2015-2021 Edge, 2016-2018 MKX and 2019-2021 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit a hood bounce or flutter condition at high speeds. This may be due to an incorrect adjustment of the rubber bump stops. To correct this condition, make sure the rubber bump stops are in contact with the inner hood sheet metal. Using a piece of paper between the hood and the rubber hood stop, make sure the paper fits snug with hood closed. For claiming, use causal part number 16612 and applicable labor times from Section 12 of the Service Labor Times Standard (SLTS) Manual. |
| SSM 49679 | 2021-03-31. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. Some 2015-2020 Edge, 2016-2018 MKX, and 2019-2020 Nautilus vehicles may require replacement of the roof opening panel track or frame for various conditions. When replacing the roof opening panel, the replacement component may have less magnet plates. In order to prevent any noise vibration or harshness (NVH) concerns, the magnets on the headliner around the roof opening panel that line up with the removed magnet plates should be discarded. |
| SSM 49267 | 2020-11-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Some 2019-2020 Edge/Nautilus vehicles may exhibit an inoperative power liftgate with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B144F:79 stored in the rear gate trunk module (RGTM). This may be due to the calibration of the RGTM. To resolve the concern, reprogram the RGTM using the latest software level of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool. For claiming use causal part number 14B291 and Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. Do not replace the power strut unless DTC B144F remains after reprograming the RGTM. |
| TSB 20-2233 | 2020-08-06. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. This article supersedes TSB 19-2026 to update the vehicle model years affected. Some 2000 and newer Ford/Lincoln/Mercury vehicles equipped with aluminum body panels may exhibit corrosion concerns appearing as bubbled and/or peeling paint with or without accompanying white dust. Panel replacement is recommended. |

This may be due to the seat pan track. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to install a reinforcement. |
| TSB 19-2224 | 2019-09-06. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY:TAILGATE. Some 2019 Edge vehicles built on or before 06-Mar-2019 may exhibit a popping or snapping noise from the rear of the vehicle when the liftgate is opened or closed. This may be due to reversing lamp close out interference caused by the securing tabs. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to replace the reversing lamp close out. A lower level service part has been released. Replacement of the reversing lamp assembly is not required. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps on vehicles that meet the following criteria: * 2019 Edge * Built on or before 06-Mar-2019 * Popping/snapping noise when opening or closing the liftgate |
| SSM 47873 | 2019-04-03. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
