THIS IS DUE TO MISPOSITIONING OF THE PCV CLOSURE TUBE IN PRIOR REPAIRS. THE TUBE THEN COMES INTO CONTACT WITH THE WATER PUMP DRIVE PULLEY WHICH WEARS THE TUBE.
