Flash: Drone or Vibration Present During MDS Operation This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software. New PCM software is being released to address a customer's concern of a drone or vibration type condition while driving at highway speeds during MDS (Multiple Displacement System) operation.In addition, the following powertrain system improvements/enhancements are also included in this software release: Improved Electronic Voltage Regulator control to more precisely maintain system voltage. Enhanced Automatic Oil Change Indicator(EAOCI) system improvements to switch to a severe duty cycle algorithm anytime the PCM is replaced to ensure the customer receives a timely oil change required message. (Only applies to vehicles using a block heater in ambient temperatures greater than -20°F(-29°C)).

When replacing a thermostat confirm the correct replacement is choosen.~ 2010, 2011, and 2012 RAM Trucks 2500/3500/4500/5500 engine coolant operating temperature has been increased to 200 degrees requiring thermostat 68067109AA.~ 2009, 2013, and 2014 RAM Trucks 2500/3500/4500/5500 engine coolant operating temperature is 190 degrees requiring thermostat 68005464AA.~ These thermostats are not interchangeable and doing so will result in reduced engine performance.

The Overlay Harness will consist of twelve 18 AWG wires (six from each Oxygen Sensor) that run to a new Oxygen Sensor Module connector. Four wires will be removed from the original vehicle O2 Module connector and installed in the new overlay harness O2 Module connector.Do NOT replace any parts prior to performing this bulletin and the Verifications test below. N0802072013 Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) announced a safety recall on certain 2009 through 2012 model year: (DS) Ram Truck (ND) Dodge Dakota (HB) Dodge Durango (HG) Chrysler Aspen NOTE: All of the above involved vehicles are equipped with a Chrysler 9.25? rear axle (sales code DRB) or C235 rear axle (sales code DRN). The above vehicles may have been built with a rear axle pinion nut that can loosen, which could result in the rear axle locking up. This could cause a loss of vehicle control and/or a crash with little warning. Chrysler will conduct a voluntary safety recall on all affected vehicles to install a rear axle pinion nut retainer. Dealers will be notified of the launch of this safety recall by way of established methods used in the past.

A customer may have a condition where fluid is leaking from the washer reservoir. On further inspection the technician may find cracks in the reservoir by the washer pump pocket.

Part Description: Rear Window Glass Assembly Issue Description: ISSUE 1: [P/N 55277406AA]~ It is not necessary to replace the entire rear power window glass assembly when the rubber channel on top of sliding glass is falling out. Order only the replacement rubber channel (P/N 68080080AA) or the plastic slider (P/N 68166526AA) depending on which part is damaged.
