T232022-10-24. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE; EXTERIOR LIGHTING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN. Customer Satisfaction Notification T23 ? EGR Valve Function The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) on about 415,000 of the above vehicles has software that may be operating the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve (EGR) with an aggressive seating velocity. An aggressive seating velocity may damage the EGR valve. As a result this condition may illuminate the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) and display a P0404 code. The PCM must be reprogrammed on all involved vehicles.

LATCH, Hood For the following concerns, please verify secondary plunger switch before replacing hood latch with primary switch. Please refer to service information for complete diagnostics of the secondary plunger switch which is located in the left front under hood on RU, MP, and WK/WD and left rear under hood on KL. 1) Electronic Stop Start Message on Cluster or DTC P152F without hood ajar illuminated. 2) KL Hood ajar light is on or unlatched hood due to high closing effort. (KL hood may have a higher closing effort to latch the hood as rubber bumper interference is set purposely high to prevent hood flutter at highway speeds) If stop start message or DTC P152F is present on vehicles without a hood ajar light illuminated, the issue is not related to the primary hood latch switch.

TPM Sensor 2016 WK/WD vehicles only - Engineering is investigating a Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) issue for TPM lamp ON and Active diagnostic trouble codes C1501-31, C1502-31, C1503-31, C1504-31. 2015 & 2016 TPM Sensors ARE NOT interchangeable.~ As part of normal diagnostics tool # 9936 TPM-RKE Analyzer can be used to wirelessly retrieve TPM sensor data and aid you in diagnosing. The tool filters data by year and body style. Be sure to update the tool to Software Version 16.01 and check for updates periodically. Vehicles and new TPM info is added several times a year. Updates are available through TechCONNECT home page; Service Tools & Equipment; Tire Pressure Monitor Tool; Software Downloads.
